Hmm. I've been developing a female NPC named Lady Cortesse Horpe (she appeared in several places at the Casterly Rock tourney). I call her the Gray Lady since her house arms are gray -- are these conflicting? I notice that she has "the Gray" as a byname.

She is a tall woman noted for refusing suitors and is good with a bow.

And 'Gray' is strangely used here as more of a name than an adjective to describe her.

Any news on the Kingsguard btw? Have they split down the middle ala historical "Dance of Dragons" or sworn for one side or other? There must have been a few casualties. The King usually goes with at least two of them by his side.
That's a slight shame so far - not many of the Kingsguard are "known" really, apart from Niles Crane & Ser Vikary. I know it's more work Crake but the Kingsguard are supposed to be amongst the paramour of knighthood in westeros so it might be nice to have them more widely known.
