I asked if the man was apprehended and Stranger said, "No. The guard took his money, and than reported the incident."
Should we have the guard lie about something? They'll think it's the truth whatever it is.

Of course I fully support the idea of marrying Jason off to Tallahar Tyrell's daughter.

I think marrying Jason to Tallahar's daughter would bring us a powerful alliance, as nobody has tried to ally with the Mander in recent memory.
I don't think we can use Serafina as a tool because I don't know that she can be trusted.
If you didn't notice Breck, the second I just made is a red priest, just as a head's up.

Alright Byren, that sounds good.
For OOC information, Breck met with a representative of the Basilisks, and I believe someone suspected that this would happen...so they sent a King's Man to bribe my guard. The guard took the money and reported the incident. Breck's meeting was inconclusive really, and I would have had the envoy killed if I didn't have respect for parlay.

Ah I see. Smart Guard on a side note. hmmm it may be too easy to have the guard simply say noone came to your tent. Perhaps he should go a different route and say someone came and from what he heard you consistently offered them surrender, but they refused so you sent them on their way. Maybe they even offered you the crown and you refused. This may take some of the heat off your back, or you can just have the guard say that noone ever came from the basilisks.

I think I agree with Willam's idea to lie about the offers to surrender and the basilisks offering incentive for betrayal. There is a chance that someone already knows that you were visited, in fact, the enemy might have found a way to alert our allies of the meeting. If so, it could have simply been a trap to make you seem less trustworthy and pit us against each other, though I don't find that particularly likely. Even so, I think it would be safer to let the meeting become common knowledge and try to turn it to our advantage. Of course if you seem too loyal then you can't really expect the king to give you incentives to fight for his side.

Willam is probably going to be dead by the end of the day having been beaten to death with blunted tourney weapons haha.
I agree Jason

Its okay, I'm pretty sure Willam can just use Jason face as a sheild in this next match. It's probably the only thing he is good for with his low Sword skill.

This doesn't look good. Willam and I are trying to make sense of whats happening. I'm convinced Cedric is working with the Basilisks and that we are screwed.

Here is my theory on the current situation. Some of this is based on vague, cryptic rumors and I made some educated guesses but this is what it seems to come to.
- Cedric Lannister formed an alliance with the Basilisks
- Cedric had Irwyn assassinated by his own men
- Cedric and the Basilisks formed a plan to take all of the suspicion off of the Lannisters and place it on Breck Dondarrion, thus creating chaos in our army while simultaneously weakening it, by having the Basilisks deliver a false letter.
- The Targaryen triplets also seem to have diplomatic relations with the Basilisks and it is probable that they will enter the war at some point. It is also likely the Rhaegar Velaryon is aware of this and counting on it.
It goes without saying that this is all OOC information from me and that Jason knows nearly none of it. I think there is more to it but I’m not thinking straight right now. Personably, I’m beginning to think that allying ourselves with the Basilisks may have been the right idea after all. I guess it’s in your hands now Breck.

I'm not so convinced that Cedric is about to turn on us, as he is saying some very wise things to the King about what the enemy is doing. It does kinda suck that they roleplayed all that crap without letting Breck in...but there's nothing I can do about that now.
I know OOCly that Cedric's father, Baldwin (who he also played), had a goal to turn Westeros into individual kingdoms again. Perhaps he has continued with this quest and allied with Erik Greyjoy to do so... Who knows.
