To give you guys a little more detail: her life is threatened by the same cult that murdered a number of other Targ-related children. They are trying to destroy the Targaryen legacy. Saella was sent to Braavos to hide her from the same cult. Becca will go into hiding. Rhod knows, but has not told anyone in his family the truth -- he wants their reactions to her "death" to seem completely real. If they knew she wasn't dead, the grief might not appear genuine and that might tip off the cultists. This way, only Rhod has to "act", and he will do so largely by clamming up.
