Lady Swann smiled quietly to herself, though she watched his eyes the whole time, "If the two were congruent in proprtion, I would be your favorite person ever," she remarked jokingly.

"I doubt you will see much of the latter in your lifetime--only knights in shining armour are meant to face dragons--certainly not the sort of aging pile of angry bones you're becoming," she winked, fully aware that he would not see the humor.

"I will not be facing Dragons, nor will I be riding dragons." Sergyo replied, "But I would rather ride then face the beasts." He reached out and pinched out the flame on the candle.

"No," she sighed, as she stood, "I have had my fill of dining tonight--I think I will find some covers to wrap myself in--the ones in your chambers are best. I will be there when you are finished being thougtful for tonight." she winked, and excused herself.

The Sea Lord waited til the door shut behind her before standing. He lifted a bottle of wine from the side table and walked out of the Veranda into the palace.
