One of many sprawling marble balconies which adorn the expansive Braavosi palace.

The Sea Lord sat in a chair that reclined. He was shirtless in the powerful Braavosi sun. A slim young woman cradle his right hand in her lap and worked on trimming his finger nails. Several feet in front of him two young, graceful dancers struck poses that would have made a septa blush. Delinal barely smiled.
Lord Villisander leaned over the railing his elbows on the railing, staring at the magnificent view.

"Lord Delinal," Tristeza said in a soft voice, as she stood in a large arch-way that connected the balcony with the palace interior. She began to walk towards him.

The Sea Lord did not take his eyes off of the dancing girls. "Lady Martell."

"I need a word at your convienience, if it is not too much to ask." she said, stopping nearby, with a cursory glance towards Villisander--she was off to the side, so as not to abstruct his view, though she made no notice of the dancers.

"I am available at this moment. If you wish." The Sea Lord replied.

Tristeza nodded shortly, and took a seat nearby. "I will need you to look at me during this discussion." she said, "additionally, the matter I wish to converse upon is of some considerable sensitivity to me; I would appreciate it if all but Vilisander were dismissed--he too, if he'd rather. If these proposals are unamennable, I will find you at a later time." she said all of this in a very business-like tone, without blinking, or moving her eyes from him.

Sergyo looked at her, letting silence consume the moment. He started at her a long time. "Your three out." The dancers and servant rushed from the veranda as the Sea Lord asked, "Villisander?"
Villisander though was already moving toward the exit. "I will see to that other matter, Lord Delinal."

"Other matter?" Tristeza asked, as the others departed the veranda.

The Sea Lord nodded, "Yes. Why are you here, Tristeza?"

"To ask your blessing." Tristeza answered after a brief hesitation, her voice still tinged with curiosity. "I have finally found a way to restore House Martell to power."

"Yes, you have." The Sea Lord replied.

Tristeza did not seem phased by the fact that he'd heard of the proposed deal already. "It is a sensitive exchange," she said softly, "and it requires your permission."

The Sea Lord snorted at her, "And I can think of no reason to grant that. And quite a few for why I should outrightly reject that."

Tristeza lowered her head slightly, thinking over how to respond to his remark, "You know me better than most," she said after a long pause, "perhaps better than any...Surely you realize the enormity of such an oppourtunity--surely you recognize what it would mean to me--to be able to leave this mark. To avoid the extermination of my House's honor," her voice was soft, and low; it had the ring of a story to it, the way the words tumbled from her mouth.
