Wow. Things blew up quickly in the brothel wars. You behind that, Mally, or was this some mystery man? BTW, I might have some better leads soon on the Taria/Elane-killing situation. I'll let you know.

Shajura should have heeded the warning. The gold Mally paid her with wasn't Mally's. Shajura can't prance into KL and start burning brothels like she owns the place. And there was another person involved in the assassination as well. That may be so but I can almost guarantee that Mally is going to die when Emelia hears about this. S/he takes things personally. You stayed true to the character.

Oh well! Poor Shajura Amusing while the wars lasted and some how the 100,000 gold offer just got my goat. It just reeked of arrogance. And Tilda'll be happy.

Greendreams aren't tangible. Think about Jojen Reed, or Coldhands. These elements of the story are infused with mystery and vagueries. In a lot of ways I think the skinchanging is perfectly suitable to Aranya's nature (which is direct and emotional) while the Greendreams really aren't.
You should expect mentors in the magic of the old gods to be strange and evasive, and be patient with them. You kept wanting things out of Tech -- information on Goldface, or clear answers to questions -- when he just wanted to help you develop the arts of the Greenseer. You were asking the wrong questions. At some point, it had to not be about Goldface at all, but you kept going back to him and your vengeance.
You have forgotten a little bit that it wasn't Lance Sands who killed Selwyn. In fact, we don't really know how much Sands was involved in that at all.
I think you fell a little into the trap of thinking everybody has to be on one side or another. You expect the Reeds/Crannog to either be on King Callen's side or Wull's, when really, they don't care. The politics and wars of the nation are irrelevant to their lifestyle. They take each person as they come -- just as they might be willing to shelter Goldface, they -were- willing to shelter and teach Aranya. But instead of accepting this welcome, you kept getting aggravated and impatient.
Why should Tech talk to you? You poisoned and kidnapped his niece who died as a result.

The combination of the sedative and being dragged out into the middle of the swamp probably didn't help...

You have anyone in the room? Other than Mally? Someone he would naturally confide in?
Oh, and Emelia is, not surprisingly, pissed. I might have to hand Mally over.

I wanted Tilda to make the leap to printing right away but Smith, not unjustly, thought that the leap was too much, so Tild's just plotting right now. She'll have to bury her head in work over the grief and shame she feels over Mally. She Knew It Would End In Tears!

Don't worry about it. It's faked anyways.

So is Mally gonna join the Silent Sisters? It would be cool for Tilda to have a Silent Sister Always wanted to find out what goes on with them. We could do sign language to each other!

Oh Rhodri, I kind of want to pounce on Brandon. But the Elane in me is going to be too shy to do that. Let it take time. Plenty of time. No rush. Let the feelings blossom...if he proves himself worthy. If not, Elane will resist.
