I think he planned for it But it's okay. Actually, it wasn't my idea. It hadn't occurred to me at all until I was PMing with the Smith and he said that if Selwyn went along (breaking the prophecy) he might die. The Smith suggested that might make for an interesting story. We went back and forth on it a little bit and then decided to go for it. But from about the point where Selwyn and Aranya went to the Eyrie, I knew Selwyn would die, and that flavoured my posts. So don't think I was trying to get away from you or Selwyn. I liked Selwyn, and I enjoyed our interactions in character. But it also seemed like a compelling storyline, and that's why I went with it.

Aranya, how many times I am going to have to tell you to throttle back with Tech! Fuck Lance Sands! Talk about other things. You keep trying to get to the "point" and that only makes him more evasive. That and clearly there is more to Sands than the monster we think he is.

It's true that patience has never been Aranya's virtue .

Or perhaps she's playing you to win your sympathy? Who knows...

It is a spirutal change, not a physical one Aranya.
But that does put a funny image in my head.

Perhaps she could see that in a vision...metaphorically.

To follow up on that: I think you've completely missed the point. I think you ought to rethink everything we actually know about Lance Sands -- how much have we seen firsthand? What are our sources of information?
Jamie Bracken -- who I trust about us much as I trust, oh, Steffon Lannister the Worm -- told us he was the real villain. Since then, we've only seen rumors and half-truths about him, guys masquerading as him. What has he done that we can actually attribute to him? Tech Reed, who actually knows him, seemed to like him ... seriously, before you harm his wife, seriously re-think what the fuck you're doing.
It is wrong.

And Tech was someone you should have learned from, not made an enemy of.

Nevermind. Whatever. It's drama. Catelyn-arresting-Tyrion-or-releasing-Jaime drama, but still, it's interesting.
