A few moments after Lord Manderly had left the room, Cregan looked at Gariss.
"I am sorry, if I spoke out of my turn, King Gariss, but I felt that I had to. Leaving White Harbor in the hands of that foreigner doesn't sit well with me, and I don't believe that we should bring in people from the Free Cities, I am not sure that they have forgotten that we helped Braavos to conquer them. He might have been knighted, but that does not matter much in the eyes of the Old Gods. Knighthood is for those that worship the Seven, not us from the North"

"Every man deserves his own thoughts, and yours mirror mine, Cregan," Gariss said in agreement.
He had hoped to send the fleet out sooner, but this would surely delay it.

Cregan nodded.
"If there is nothing that you need of me right now, I was thinking of taking out the men for a little training excirsise, and to learn about the terrain here, so that I can defend this place better."

"That is all Cregan," Gariss said, giving him leave.

He nods.
"Thank you, King Gariss. You can seek me out when you want to discuss the details of defending this place after you leave."
He gives a quick bow, before he opens the door and leaves.

"Aye, it was quite, it is a shame Olander died my wife will be sad, he was more like a brother to her then a cousin, but all men must die." said Edmure with a touch of sadness in his voice.

"At some point yes, but I am afraid that the battle took two great men way before their time. Let us just hope that King Gariss doesn't meet his end in the south. The Old God's powers does not stretch down there. So what are you planning to do now, Lord Karstark"

"Gariss. I am glad that you have come back here. It's time to understand that we don't stand a chance against Rodrick. So I say it's time for us to start planning to withdraw. What do you say?"

"I have already begun such things, Cregan. The men already work toward the ineviatable end. Tonight, the men will slowly, but surely return to their missed families. All is well, Cregan, all is well."
