With all due respect to everyone involved, at the time of the first engagement in the wolfswood, your men were beginning to chop trees. The battle was a mere skirmish, and in-game time just ended. There is no way the trees could have been felled and made into working weapons in that little amount of time. (probably a few hours game time).

Mag is correct. Roose's artillery has not been fully constructed yet.
Lord Stark is now with his army. A portion of the infantry (2,000) are constructing artillery pieces. The remaining Infantry, and Cavalry are prepared for battle. With him is Ser Dwayne the Hammer, leading Lord Bolton's men. Bolton watches from a safe distance, with messengers sending orders to his underling.
Wat, and his Wats, along with Jack Lordsbane, are intermixed with their people, keeping hope alive. Finally Jack gives the order to charge.
Round 2: Name: Battle/Weapon
Stark: 107/176 Ironhammer:147/148 Bolton: 147/(out of range) V. Lordsbane: 147/176 Shepard:198/72 White:149 Brown:130 Lumberjack:138
The army of the rebel's charge as Jack and Wat the Shepard push cross the bridge to lead the their people to freedom or death Roose Stark's men do not see the attack coming until Lord Bolton, from his position on a hill, gives a cry and sends a messenger to his Lord. Rallying late, the Troops of Winterfell take the field as the rebels are in their mix, fighting is fierce, and the Northern army takes significant loss. Only Ser Dwayne's courage in the face of the enemy and the Iron backbone of the Bolton troops holds the line. In the fighting Lord Stark cuts down a man wielding a staff. Never suspecting it was Wat the Shepard himself.

Ironhammer's fierceness pushes him to the front, as he cuts his way into the rebels, slaying anyone who cross him. But in his rage, he ignores the rest of the Northern line, and is soon isolated, and taking casualties. Bolton sees his underling is in trouble, and dispatches orders for him to fall back and regroup, but the messenger takes a stray arrow to the throat, and the message doesn't get through. Meanwhile, Lord Stark is beginning to get his lines in order, and struggling to undo the disorder caused by the surprise attack.
