A guard admits Seth into the tower. A servant leads him up to a room and knocks on the door. Piers opens the door covered in flower wearing an apron. Seeing Seth he squints at him, "Is that a Greyjoy I see before me or do my eyes decieve me. Come in."
Piers walks back into the room and over to a large pan, and wooden bowl. Piers begins kneading the dough of the bread he is making, "How may I help you Seth."

"Well, Lord..." Seth began. He was caught off guard by the culinary side of the Kingdom's Second. "I was paying you a visit in reference to my recent raisings to Lordship"

"Um, Lord Barret granted me land and holdings, from his own land, Lord." Seth paused. "I'm sorry, but are you baking?"

Piers looked up at Seth and raised a single eyebrow, "No. I do not know how to bake. So Barret gave you lands, but does that make you a lord? It is an interesting question."

"He informed me that he intended to make me the Lord of that land, and that my children would govern it upon my demise." Seth peered at Piers sceptically. He was confused, but didn't say anything, fearing he might anger the Hand despite his obvious eccentricities.
"Why, is there something wrong with that?"

Piers worked at the dough, "So we have established you are a lord. Barret has the ability to grant Lands, and titles. So what have you come to me about. Would you please hand me that pin over there." Piers motions towards a rolling pin just next to Seth.

Seth hurriedly grabs the pin, bewildered, but hands it to him. After watching him for a moment, he asks, "What are you making?"

"It would be bread, except I am not baking... so cheese." Piers smiles up at Seth, "I have found amking cheese is an entertaining way to spend a couple of hours. And your cheese always tastes better if you have made it yourself." Pausing to drink from a flour covered glass of wine, Piers asks, "Do you like Lord Barret?"

"He is a friend. I disagree with some of his actions, but he is young, like myself, and bound to make mistakes. I offer counsel to him in the hopes that I can dissuade him from anything brash, as he seems prone to doing." Seth wiped flour from his hands onto the backs of his trousers.
"Why do you ask, Lord?"

Piers worked at his dough and smiled up at Seth, "Well I was curious. I have heard such awful things about Barret. And was curious what some one who knows him well thought of him. What do you want to do with your life Seth. I have known you for five minutes, and I do not see you ordering around small folk and watching kids drop from your wives belly. A squire of Giles Grandison wants more then that I think." Pointing at a wine bottle Piers asks, "Wine?"

"No thank you, Lord." Seth did not drink, as a rule. He hated the idea of his perception being altered.
"What is it that you believe I want?" He asked, waving away the offer of wine.

Piers looked at him a long moment, "Clearly not a vinyard. How should I know what you want? I am just using a conversational tactic on you. Everytime you think we are settled on a specific issue, I change the topic trying to get a read of you reactions and also I hope you will let something slip that I do not know." Piers pauses so Seth can dwell over what he was just told then asks, "So have you met any girls here in King's Landing?"

Seth frowned. "Well, I suppose I should reign our conversation back on topic." He looked as if he preferred to avoid that subject.
"I wish to create my own House. As a Lord I believe I have that right, but I was unsure as to the proper method to legitimize it. I have had an artist render a design of heraldry. I wish to know if it can be approved."
