Piers laughs deeply, "You see my tactic works again. I have learned something I did not know. You have met a girl." Piers smile is joyous and triumphant, "Is she pretty, and dainty. Oh so courteous and well mannered, some placid cow to bear you lots of little 'Lord Seth's, I imagine."

Seth looked at Piers oddly, trying to size him up. He smiled, slightly. Piers reminded him a bit of Mortimer.
"Yes, well, perhaps that is a discussion for another time, when we are more fully acquainted." He cracked his knuckles against his leg. "So, what is my solution?"

Seth sighed loudly. He was very much like his friend, but older, and more persistent.
"I have recently quartered a friendship with Aerie Blackwood." Seth said. "Now can we continue?"

"Aerie, Aerie quite contrary, how does her fandom grow? She is mean as hell, and a bit unwell. Yet she has men lined up in a row." Piers explodes with laugher. "I wish you were the first man I dragged that paticular confession from. Or even the fourth. So besides her large sword, and snappy personality what is it about Aerie that so attracted you?"

Seth couldn't help but laugh at the pathetic situation he was in. He was trapped here, in political niceties until the Hand felt like letting him leave.
"My House. I wish to create my own. I have the Arms already doctored."

Piers nods, "Alright now comes the fun time payment. Will you be able to pay the House Creation Fee?" He turns and slips the bread into the oven behind him. Walking over to a pitcher and wash stand he begins to clean his hands.

"Well that is the tricky part." Piers says a number that makes sweat bed out on Seth's face, "Usually the leige lord covers a great deal of that, but I do not see him around. Perhaps you and I could come to another agreement." He turns from the wash stand to face the man.
