Somehow the waring forms of Vikary and Tallahar sense the approach of the tailors and break off to face them. Vikary manages to mark Edgar for the first time but Tallahar faces less well against the agile Layla, his wounds slowly him as she jabs a quick prob into the leg
Keath kicks the dead form of Kidwell with a grin and looks about for a worthy foe. Seeing the Greatbear crushing the hapless Oldflower, his eyes light up and he trots over to take advantage of his distraction.
Meanwhile Maerys' smile falters as he discovers Pedryc's speed and skill. Pedryc remorsely forces the Prince backwards and cuts deeply into his leg and Maerys realises he's in desperate trouble.
In a war all of their own, Lance Sands begins to triumph over a visibly fatigued Falatir Razoon.

The pair of Vikary/Edgar and Tallahar/Layla trade blows to little effect as they search for openings.
The Greatbear finally smashes the chest of his opponent and crushes the life from the Greenhand. Even in his fury and bloodlust he hears the stealthy approach of the Demon and whirls to face him, catching Dark Sister with Longclaw as the air screams with the sound of Valryian steel on Valryian steel.
Pedryc spins on one heel and takes the silver haired & indigo eyed head from Prince Maerys shoulders. He shakes the blood lose from his sword as the body falls and his gaze turns once more to Lance Sands and Falatir Razoon, whom both appear to be one the verge of passing out from bloodloss.

Both tailors take wounds this time as the blades of Vikary and Tyrell cut the couple, though only lightly. Meanwhile, in what is shaping up to be another titanic battle, the Demon and Greatbear trade blows and Longclaw bites into Kennos as Jonas laughs a booming roar.
Ser Pedryc barrels into both Lance Sands and Falatir Razoon, who are no match for the seemingly invincible Yew. It is doubtful whether either will survive the next assault.

Edgar stumbles for a second and Vikary displays the killer instinct which made him a legend and cleaves deeply into him. It is obvious he will never be getting back up.
Layla, enraged at the death of her husband takes it out the only way she can, by landing a punishing series of hits on Lord Tallahar Tyrell who is driven back and cut numerous times by the crazed woman as Timm laughs.
Keath snarls wordlessly as he resorts to vicious tactics and finally draws blood from the Greatbear.
Yew destroys Razoon and chops him down and nearly does for Lance Sands, but the renegade black brother with the golden spear manages to ward off the killing stroke, at least for now...

Tallahar manages to recover slightly and fend off the maddened Lady Potter as Timm Vikary takes a moment to lean on his sword and take a breather, chuckling at the two of them.
The Greatbear smashes another painful blow to the ribs of Keath as the two most brutal combatants go at each other
At the corner of the field, Lance Sands finally falls as Yew slices deeply into his face through to the brain underneath

Tallahar tries to hit Layla again as Timm gets bored of waiting and barrels into them both, cutting Layla but missing Tallahar and turning what was a straightforward fight into a messy 3-way battle.
And talking of 3-way battles, the Greatbear and Demon clash Valryian steel to little effect and the enboldened Yew, feeling unbeatable, wades into the fray, dealing new wounds to both. Can the Demon and Greatbear survive the Whirlwind?

The rest appears to have done Vikary the power of good as he slices and stabs at his two foes with little sign of trouble. Ser Tallahar is noticeably beginning to tire from fatigue and bloodloss. Meanwhile the Whirlwind blows away the competition as he cuts a swathe through the Demon and Greatbear. Is Yew truly blessed by the Seven?

Sure enough, Vikary cuts down Layla Potter and Tallahar Tyrell at nearly the same moment as Yew dispatches Keath and Mormont with such deadly grace which defies belief to witness it.
The two pause, alone in the field of the dead, and a slight breeze ripples their cloaks. The crowd hushes in expectation as Yew lifts his bloodied blade encrusted with gore in a brief salute as Vikary approaches
TV:208 PY:152 (heavy hit to Yew)
For the first time, Yew feels the pain of a wound as Ser Timm rolls forward and pierces him with a basic attack which is so basic, it eludes Yew who was expecting a more advanced manouevre
TV:193 PY:94 (heavy hit to Yew)
The crowd oohs as Vikary employs a dazzling move of athletic prowess to twist his body in the opposite direction to which it was travelling. Completely flummoxed, Yew can't help striking out at where Vikary should be, only to narrowly avoid a lethal blow as Timm's blade goes through his left lung, missing his heart by inches as Yew sinks to his knees.
TV:201 PY: 43 (deathstroke)
Vikary wastes no further time and removes his sword only to end Yew's suffering as he delivers the coup de grace.
Ser Timm Vikary comes through the Melee of Legends as the only survivor and also completely unscratched. And all without Valryian steel or Dawn. Scary.
