Well, it looks like a lot of our leaders are being held in King's Landing.... whats the best plan of action?

I'll say what Lord Maurin wants me to say. While he's the regent, I'm his man.
Technically, I'm the only guilty person here, at least of murder. Lord Maurin and Marten are guilty of attempted murder, and Walter Plumm is really only guilty of obeying his lord and perhaps unnecessary brutality. I don't know if I'm a good enough sword to demand trial by combat though, I don't want to have to fight one of the Kingsguard.

Who are the "murdered" men? I haven't really been following the Melee.

Well, with some of their leaders dead, and everyone focusing on the trial, would it not be a decent idea to lead a quick strike onto the iron islands themselves or bear island, they wouldn't expect that and might be we can get a quick steal

Roose Stark should take Bear Isle, but we should take the Iron Islands. I know Fair Isle is going to be their first target if they actually call their banners and raise an army/navy. Based off what the Smith told me, I've got about four ships (including the Valkyrie) that belong to House Farman, and 6 more that belong to minor lords & landed knights on Fair Isle. House Lannister can raise 80 more ships from their other bannermen and their own fleet but the Ironborn fleet is still bigger. I don't think we can preemptively strike them but if they're already calling banners we should at least do the same so they can't catch us unarmed so-to-speak.

Good idea... who is the person that calls the banners? Cause you're right, they are probably getting prepared... Roose Stark has 25,000 right now and 5,000 westermen I think, that is more than enough to swarm Bear Island I would think.

The Iron Islands has called up fifteen thousand men. I don't think the 5000 that Roose took count as part of our troops, because they're just individual knights & petty lords seeking glory. It says in the Current Troop Levels thread that we have 1500 called up now, a third of those at Casterly Rock. They're manning their fleet and reaving our towns already, we have to fight back.

I have 2,000 men at Lydden, but no good commander. I can send them to wherever needed.

I'm a decent general, and a noteworthy admiral, but I'm in King's Landing. Ser Addam Farman, an NPC, is the Castellan of Faircastle and is currently in command of Faircastle's fleet while Lord Jaymes is gone, though I might have my third, Ser Tarannon Falastur, sail back to Faircastle and take command of the fleet there.
Where is Lydden? Fair Island is basically due south of Pyke, northwest of Casterly Rock.

where should I sent my troops to? Obviously, we can't lose the Rock, but I don't think even 15,000 men can take that castle, can it? I can help you defend Faircastle, even 2,000 should help, I guess. Or I can send them to Banefort.

Wait for orders from Lord Maurin, if he ever comes online

Well, if he for some reason is gone for a while, we're gonna have to act or Lord Maurin won't be Lord of anything, lol.

I know, but I'm pretty new here too so I don't want to be stepping on anyone's toes by just taking over command of the west after just arriving in the RP

Yeah, I understand, me too, when I think about it. Nevertheless, I have called up the troops around Deep Den, preparing them to march whenenver Maurin gives the order.
