Clayton warily accepts this "Florian" into his service, but always keeps an eye on him, even at night. He gives Florian smaller jobs, nothing he could sabotage.

Clayton accepts the letter, happy to be reassured. He quickly puts Florian to more important work, easing his own load tremendously.

OOC: Haha.
Florian is a quick youth, learning the tasks quickly and performing them deftly and efficiently.

Rogyr Redding watched the last of his men leave Greycopse. Of the original four hundred and fifty to join Greycopse, three hundred and seventy would return to the Mander and Far Reach, while eighty would remain at Lord Falgrave's humble estate. The peaceful plot of land was a welcome change from the tiresome politicking that went on elsewhere and the nature of it's people helped most of the remaining soldiers with their decision.
Only about a third of the remaining soldiers had wives, and only half of those had children considering most of them were either old bachelors or young men. Rogyr's wife Jayla was back at Oldtown, but he would be retrieving her soon, with the war over. Rogyr was excited to start a new life at Greycopse. Over the many months, Captain Rickon of the Guard had passed away, but he had been old anyway, so Rogyr had taken up the duties of the former Guard Captain. Life at Greycopse was far from exciting, but what it lacked in luster it made up for in amiability. Rogyr watched the community grow over the course of Lord Falgrave's absence, and took note as to how well the people seemed to live. They seemed to simply want to work and stay out of conflict, and Rogyr made it a silent oath to protect this way of life.

OOC: Florian is at Casterly Rock. The steward would be the next in line, or just the Captain of the Guards.

Clayton meets with the messenger. "A package? Who are you, and who is it from?"

The man, apparently none too pleased with his mission, tells Clayton, "I'm Qard. This is from Erik Coldiron, Lord of Bear Island. Now let me see..." He pulls a note from his pocket, unfolds it, and reads it slowly.
"I regret missing your wedding, cousin. Here is a gift for you and Aerie. I hear you got her knocked up, as well. I'll have a littler version made for the child when it gets popped out. Give my regards to your lady wife. I shall try to visit next time I sail south."
Qard hands the note to Clayton. "You want the package anywhere in particular?"

Clayton chuckles. "Ever so blunt, you Ironborn. You can set the package in Lord Seth's chambers." Clayton points to the very top of the castle, a long climb by the looks of it.

Qard looks more than a little annoyed, but starts walking. He leaves the package on the bed, then takes a look around. He grabs a pen, with some gold filigree laid into it, and slips it into his pocket before leaving.

Clayton walks into the room, and looks at the package. "Hmmm... I wonder what it is?" Clayton walks out, barely resisting the urge to look. As he walks out, he notices his favorite pen is missing. "The hell...." Clayton looks around, and when noticing it isn't there curses. "He stole my damned pen!" Clayton runs down the steps and tells Rogyr Redding to find Qard and bring him back.

Unfortunately for Clayton, Qard has already mounted up and ridden away.
