Aerie remained quiet through most of the merriment, but gave Seth a small smile when he called her name. She was not one to be overly affectionate in public view, but her relief to see him safe was discernible to the well-trained eye. At his mention of a feast she added, "I will see to it." She followed inside, turning her head towards Seth. "Your journey went well?"

"As well as I would hope." He said, shaking his head. "No matter how much I ride, I fear I will forever be plagued by saddle-sores." He patted her bulging stomach.
"Much longer?"

Aerie shook her head. "No, it will be soon." I have that to look forward to she thought sarcastically to herself. "I brought Layla home as well..."

Seth smiled and kissed Aerie. "I have missed you too." He slid his hand down her arm to find her hand and squeezed it.
"I am very tired." He scratched his furred chin and sighed. "I hate travel."

"Or rather you wouldn't be able to," she corrected airily. "I think it's your turn to have the baby. This whole pregnancy affair drives me rather mad. Everybody seems to think it's some sort of debilitating illness."
