Aerie raised an eyebrow at Flea's account, turning quizzically to Erik for an explanation. Before she could open her mouth however, Erik spotted Seth approaching and hurried away to meet him, leaving Aerie standing there as stupidly as Flea. She looked at him thoughtfully for a moment before sighing and turning heel to meet the men outside as well. “You may come if you wish,” she called over her shoulder.

Flea waited till Aerie had gone, than snatched the beer in his two hands, and chugged it quickly, before letting out a 14 year old burp. He hurriedly put the mug down and raised outside to catch up.

"I wasn't expecting guests, cousin. Where are they?" He asked, a smile tugging at the corners of his bearded face.

"Well, there's just me and Gysella," He points over his shoulder to his wife, who has just made it down to the courtyard, "And eight of my men. Don't know where they got to, odds are they're causing trouble. Didn't want to bring too large a party, and I needed to leave the ship under a decent guard. Can't have anyone stealing my throne."

Clayton frowned. "Your men stole my favorite fountain pen last time you were here."

"Well that's downright impossible, seeing as I've never been here."

"Where is my wife? Where is Aerie?" Seth asked. Their time apart had been hard for him. He grasped Erik's arm in a rough shake and patted Clayton on the back.

Clayton chuckled. "Probably trouncing down the steps taking her time right now. Seven know she likes to vex people." Clayton looked over at Erik.
"A messenger stole my pen. The messanger you sent with the marriage gift stole my fountain pen. Those things are very expensive."

"I'll buy you twelve more pens if you drop this ridiculous claim, Clayton." Seth said, sighing. "Why would any honorable messenger of my dear cousin, steal your writing utensil?" Seth gave Erik a furtive wink, and smirked.

"And frankly, ser, Clayton, is it?" Erik says to the man, "If you care to insinuate that my men are in any way dishonorable, I will be more than willing to settle any matter of honor with you come dawn, with blades in our hands."

"I don't think it should come to that, Erik." Seth said, patting the man on the shoulder. "Let's try to keep the physical violence to a minimal amount on your stay."

Erik shrugs and turns back to Seth.
"Fine. I suppose I can let it pass this time. But mark my words, if this man insults me again, I may not be so kind."

Seth sighed and then chuckled. "Let us have a good feast. Not a great feast, but a good one none the less."

Clayton frowned and mumbled something under his breath. "Pen...fathers...gave to me..." Clayton followed Erik and Seth into the hall for a great feast he helped to organize.
