Clayton meets up with the men as they arrive. "What is your name, commander? I am Clayton Braska, Castellan of Greycopse Keep."

The man nodded to Clayton.
"Rogyr Redding, Lord." He waved his hand over his men. "We were sent to help protect Greycopse in case of any trouble."

Clayton nods at Rogyr.
"I believe we should send 150 men to garrison the walls, 50 men to guard the keep itself, along with 15 at each gate. The remaining foot should patrol the town, and we will find accommodations for them somewhere. The horse should be broken up into groups of 10, a third of them patrolling the Prince's Pass, a third patrolling east of us, and a third patrolling around Lord Seth's lands. What do you think, Rogyr? After all, you are the one with military expertise."

"Well, with the current situation as it is, I am subject to what you would have me do, but no, I don't find anything wrong with your request."

Clayton nodded. "Ok then, it's settled. Pick out your men and the leaders of their groups and set them about their tasks. Talk to one of the servants about a room in Greycopse Keep, I have other matters to attend to." Clayton curtly walked away, clearly weighed down by tasks.

"M'Lord." Rogyr said. "What about our horses?"

Clayton stopped and turned. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Didn't I explain about having them patrol around the area?"

"I meant our horses, Lord. Where will we stable them, yours is not nearly large enough. Including the fact that there is no room in this village to keep three hundred extra men. Me thinks you might have to build more."

Clayton sighed, and called out for a worker. "We need accommodations for 450 soldiers, plus 150 horses. Set all the available men to it as soon as possible."
"Have your men help to build the buildings, Rogyr. Now, will that be all?" Clayton said. Almost as a side thought, he says, "Sorry to come off rude. It is war time, I was just appointed castellan, and I am not used to these duties." Clayton managed a smile for a second, and started to walk away again.

"When, if I may ask, will Lord Falgrave be returning?"

Clayton turned around again, almost irked. "I do not know. He could return on the morrow or in a fortnight, perhaps never. Who knows. He was supposed to be back here with you, but I suppose he has gone to King's Landing. In that case, it could be weeks or over a month."

"I see." Rogyr nodded. "I will see to my men and make sure that they help generously with the construction."

Clayton nodded. "Thank You, commander. If you need anything else, I'll be in the keep in my study." Clayton turned around and walked up the hill.

A month or two later, a young man arrives at Greycopse. He calls himself Florian and does not give a last name, but claims he was sent by Lord Falgrave to help Clayton Braska with the upkeep of Greycopse.
