Qarro shrugged, "Two hundred years ago or so. And to the east, in Ghis or Asshai. They are very secretive. Most do not know of their exsistance. And the whispers say that are only ever Six of them. But as to the truth of those things little is know."

"So how are you so sure that they were used to kill the Sealord?"

[The Smith]

"I am not. I said they were rumors. It was not a Faceless Man. Nor a Sorrowful man. And there are only so many people who could slip into the Sea Lords' palace and slit his throat, and then get away." Qarro replies

"True," Elane said thoughtfully. "Though anyone with access to these Six of Valyria must have some strong connection in east. A very strong connection."

"I was most displeased by the Sealord's killing. He was a good man, and in any case it was foolish. If Delinal needs help finding the murderer, then you should give him all the help you can. Who does he suspect so far? Not anyone here, I hope?"

[The Smith]

Qarro nodded, "The first two obivous suspects are Delinal and his cheif rival Lord Belnasi. If Sergyo did it himself then he will pin it on Belnasi. But I do not think so. He is putting too much effort into finding some one else. Belnasi almost immediately decided not to put his name forward for Sea Lord, so if he commited the crime, he almost immediately gave up on his plan."

"So really that leaves only one more prime suspect. Only one nation was the resources to hire a high paid assassin. Only one nation was at open war with Braavos. Only one ruler would be so arrogantly foolish to tempt the Braavosi." He looked at Elane hard, before adding, "Of course, that would make me think some one was attempting to frame that King."

Elane listened in calm, meditative silence. "I know Belnasi, and I do not think he would have the balls - excuse me, the guts, - to attempt something of this magnitude. I do not suspect Delinal either. No other Braavosi noble comes to mind who would do this.

"Speak plainly, Qarro. In my house your words are safe. You suspect Callen Baratheon of this crime. He would not be so unutterably foolish, I would hope."

[The Smith]

"Perhaps he did it. Or perhaps he was merely taken advantage of another power who aslo wanted the Sea Lord dead." Qarro took a bit of swan and remained silent for a long moment as he chewed. "But I would look at him first, If I was Braavos."

"It is possible that someone would want to frame him," Elane said. She swirled her wine in its glass. "If tensions build again between Westeros and Braavos, and war threatens, it will be in our best interest to have no part in it, Qarro, should any try to draw us into the fray."

[The Smith]

Qarrro nodded, "We would resist. We like neither side enough to join a war."

"Good," Elane said. "As good as this food. Are the mice to your satisfaction?"

[The Smith]

Qarro nods, "They were quite good. Excellant in fact. Thank you."

"I am glad," Elane smiled. "Well, it has been a long dinner. You are most interesting company, Qarro. I will come visit tomorrow when your session is over, and please see what you can do for me about the Andal Pentoshi."

"Of course." Qarro rose and bowed before exiting the manor.

As the servants cleared up, Elane looked around for Brandon.
