Nehmen looks up at Rhodri, "If you were to do that... if two of your family were to dissapear would that not cause more people to question. And it would not take to many questions to realize that Buckler's Bastards are in fact neither."

"You are right. With Saella, we had the perfect cover in her castle at Mistwood, a place no one goes. But Becca is too visible," Rhodri says, stumped.

Nehmen licks his lips, "If you were to ask her, would not your wife say, that she would gladly put her own life at risk to prevent danger to her daughter? I know many mothers who would claim that."

"Of course she would. We will have to protect her without her hiding. We cannot draw attention to Saella, we cannot risk that."

"There is another possibility. If I knew the man who was to kill your wife we could arrange for him to steal her away and she could live in hiding. He would merely report that he had finished her to his masters." Nehmen raised a single Eyebrow.

Rhodri looks incredulous at the suggestion. "You know the man? Then we shouldn't just arrest him. And if she were to go into hiding, as you say, would that be to the end of days? Would I be a widower in all but truth, my children near-orphans?"

Nehmen raises his hand, "Rhodri if I know the man, and he is willing to lie to his masters, clearly he is not really their man. Were to arrest him, they would just use another man. He works me. I suppose occasionally you could fall off the map for short visits, and maybe your children eventually. That would be up to you. It would increase the risk, but no unmanagably so."

"It would be hard on her. She already feels she has lost a daughter, to now lose her two sons and her husband...there is already a distance between us, a divide that I have felt since I turned my back on her brother. She may see me asking her to do this as another betrayal."
"It can only happen if she decides it, not I."

After consulting with Becca, the plan is to move forwards. If the mechanisms are in place, they can happen while the rest of the family is away hunting. If not, arrangements can be made in the future.
Rhodri only asks that the "murderer" not seem to be a lingering mystery; the case must be "solved" so it does not appear as if he is not pursuing it.

"One last question, Maester -- who knows of this? Your man, of course, but who else has been informed of the truth?"

"Only myself and the four other members of my council." Nehmen paused, "Do you still wish to join our number. Can you name any members of my council? Your actions today go a long way to proving you worth."

"I have never been fool enough to set spies upon you to see with whom you talk. I doubt they would survive long if I tried. So I can only guess, guess the names of those I have found most informed in my days here. The most informed man I know is Piers Bettley. I might guess he is a member of your council," Rhodri says, pausing.

"You are not wrong. Baldwin Lannister and I founded our organization together. Piers was the natural successor to his Master's seat." Nehmen allows his lips to quirk, "On a different note, where should we send your wife."

Rhodri pauses and smiles. "Do I only get one guess, then? I would like to know who knows the truth of my wife's whereabouts. Lord Plumm was surely a member, before his demise. Did his wife always have a seat on the council, or only once he was gone?"

Nehmen shakes his head, "Elena Plumm nor her late husband have ever sat on our council. I can see why your mind would lead you there. But Baldwin did not stuff the council full of cronies like he did the Small Council. No our council is more important then mere political manuevers. No Westerman or woman sits on the council besides Pier Bettley. Even though Piers claims he is grooming Elena for his seat, but I think she resists his efforts innately."
"I was asking where you and Becca had decided to hide her. If you wish us to arrange that we will, but I told you before that we are willing to hide her in any location you choose. Well almost, her silver hair will have to go though, it is far to distinctive." Nehmen frowns in deep thought.
