ooc -- hadn't even seen this when I sent the PM. I'm fine with everyone coming together instead of keeping them apart, though some "private" conversations might spring up. Lilith is welcome to join us. I would like to keep it in this forum.

Piers Bettley enters the Hand's tower carrying a truly fine arbor red, and a bouquet of flowers for Becca. Smiling he bows elegantly before presenting his gifts to his hosts.
Elena follows him with a slightly wary smile on her face. She carries three books as gifts for her hosts, all of them are histories of the previous Hands. She presents them also.

ooc -- Callen and Anya had the twins. But the matched set just means our servants will have to do Breyn's laundry less often . IC: Lady Becca warmly greets each guest, and formally introduces herself to Lady Elena. "Welcome. We have made this place as much a home as we could. Please be comfortable here." Lord Arryn enters dressed in simple black doublet and thanks his guests for coming. Dinner starts with a warm leak and parsnip soup, lightly peppered.

Lilith greeted her husband, Becca, Elena and Rhodri very warmly. It was nice to be among loved ones again.

"Naunt, I can't believe we live in the same city and spend so little time together. Someday when I think I can leave Callen untended, I'll take off this chain and forget the realm and remember my family," Rhodri says, embracing Lilith.
"Lord Elena, I am privileged to have you as my guest."

Piers kisses his wife before sitting. And helping him self to the soup.
Elena replies, "It is lovely. You have done wonders, Lady Arryn."

Piers snickers at Rhodri, "If you can not tell your lords from your ladies Rhodri then you probably should retire as hand."

ooc: I thought it was some kind of Rhodri jest about Elena insisting on her own invitation.

After the soup, a small course of steamed mussels is presented, and a bottle of Arbor Gold.
"Mi'lady," Rhodri says to Elena, "How have you experienced the new King's Landing? I am always curious what different perspectives are people have."

Elena replies, "Hardly at all Lord Rhodri, I have spent most of my time alone in my room. But I have recently started traveling around, and it is coming along quite nicely."

"I am glad that you are having the chance to see a little more. I...think...I understand at least a little of what you have gone through," Lord Rhodri says, thinking back on Selwyn, on Breyn, on his father Alyn, all the family he has lost. "There is much to live for."
OOC: I'm off to bed. I'm correcting about one typo per word right now.
