Yup - hard to receive a raven when you're out to sea. For good or bad, it'll happen

Well you'll be glad to know (well, maybe not you Seth) that we succesfully conquered the Shield Islands. The Smith's just working out the casualties for each side then feel free to write a short scenario covering events. If for no other reason that to increase a skill. I can blatently encourage this as I'm not long for playing now

You really should come back, Other. Otherwise we'll be very angry.

How do I know that Erik doesn't like things like that? Nah, I need to give this game a break for a while. Maybe I'll be back, maybe I won't but I need to get away from it for a bit.

How did we lose more ships than the Shield Islanders with our overwhelming numbers?

Cornered rats fight all the harder apparently. Where can you run to on an island?

I dunno, but you can sail away on a boat.

I got the impression most of the casualties suffered where on land (at least on the defenders side) we lost so many ships because of shorebound war machines. Actually, I'm now trying to justify the losses to myself. Basically we lost that many because the Smith says we lost that many. I used to moan as well when I was Balor if it's any consolation p.s. you going to off Harlaw during the fight or are you going to bide your time for a bit?

Uh... I have no idea what you're talking about, Felryn loves his father dearly.
I have a scenario written for when they're on the Iron Islands, so if we go back there after this, I'll do it then.

Oh, and how come there no automatic skill increases from battles anymore? I have a few NPCs, and I'm not sure how to increase their skills otherwise.

That''s a lot of troops to loose just for the shield islands. Still, guess a wins a win.
