The White Sword Tower is a four storey structure built into the side of the Red Keep. It's gleaming walls seem to ooze history and speak of the legend who have graced it's serried ranks. The Round Room is at the summit of the structure and doubles as the office for the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard and is the resting place of the White Book, in whose pages is contained the achievements of all those who have forsaken family, love and lands to guard the royal family.

Lord Commander Eddard Tully walks into the room and seats himself. With the King away and the Queen safe with his brothers he busies himself in administration duties relating to his position. He also takes the time to painstakingly update the pages of the Book of the Brothers which has laid neglected since the death of Roderick II.
This takes some time.

Ser Tytos Blackwood approaches White Sword Tower, and stands in awe of its magnificence. Hundreds of White Brothers have called this home... He thought. Am I worthy of it? He wondered as he entered the tower.

Ser Tytos Blackwood returns to the White Sword Tower for the first time in months, and the first business on agenda is changing out of his dirty whites, and into fresh whites of the Kingsguard.

Benfry resumes his seat in the Lord Commander's quarters, until the Regent's Tower can be made habitable again

As if by magic, a thin, waifish looking King's Man appears at the doorway, wearing a pot helm, and holding a sword over his back, rather than on his waist, since it seems entirely too big for him.
"Milord Regent," he bows, and as he does, he takes his hat off, and Benfry can recognize the dark circles under his eyes.
"Are we alone here?" Flea asks quietly.

Benfry muttered an oath, startled by the man's sudden appearance. He relaxed slightly when he saw who it was and replied "Flea, isn't it? Have you joined the King's Men?" he sounded incredulous

"Not exactly milord, though some of your King's men joined me... or I should say Lord Varner. Don't go hunting for them, that wouldn't be fair, they are good folks, and loyal to the Crown. Anyway, you'd make a mess of it, and fire the wrong ones anyway." Flea let the helmet sit on the ground, and sat on a table situated in the corner.
"You're a good guy Lord Regent, Lord Varner always said so, but you ain't sneaky, and maybe you need to be. So I wanted to let you know, that if you ever need help, or a question answered, just put a red lantern in the window of the White Sword Tower, and someone will come help."

Benfry looked somewhat amused, though tried to hide it. "Appropriated some of the King's Men? For what purpose? But you have earned some trust and your master paid a price I cannot repay him, so I must repay you. I had wondered where you had gone after we arrived at Horn Hill"
"A red lantern, you say?" he said after a short pause "I imagine that will not be a problem. I shall let Tytos of our, ah, "arrangement" as well"

Flea sighed heavily, as if Benfry had added another bundle of sticks to his back, "If you absolutely MUST tell your white raven, than fine, although I'd have thought you learned your lesson with birds of all feathers. Anyway, there you have it." Flea's ears perked up.
"What reward did you have in mind?"

Benfry shrugged "I was nearly of a mind to name you Master of Whispers but that seems to be a job with nearly as bad a chance of survival as Regent these days. But ask anything you will and I will try to provide it. It is in great part due to you that I am alive, nevermind restored to the Regency"

"I think if you named me Master of Whisperers, the others would have me and you strung up together. So let's pass on that. Anyway its a shit job. Everyone starts watching you, and you spend half your days dodging them. No, a whisperer should be lean and mean, like a ferret. So no titles, thank you very much. I'm only interested in helping Lord Varner's friends. You, Irwyn, Lord Royce, the young, angry one, Roland, not the old one. Helping you guys, and getting revenge for Lord Varner and Lady Irwyn, that's what I'm on about." Flea hopped down from the table and smiled.
So I'll take... I donno. what's a good amount of dragons? Something that'll last, you decide what's available, and won't be missed, someone will pick it up. I'll be around if you need me Milord."
Flea got up to leave.
"Oh, almost forgot. King Rickon and Prince Rodrick are at a whore house called the Avalon. Probably you'll want to go get them before something happens. And no word on who tattled, a pissed off Prince I don't need."
Flea disappeared out the door, and was soon gone again.
(ooc: please don't post at Avalon until after Rodrick departs to steal his ironbron ship, so that the timing works out correctly.)

"Well so far as dragons are concerned, the Master of Coin is dead so if some go "missing" we'll just blame it on him, eh?" Benfry smiled and threw Flea a wink.
As Flea continued, the smile vanished from Benfry's face like a sudden storm and his face flushed angrily "WHOREHOUSE!!?" Benfry bellowed and ran for the door, collecting King's Men in his furious wake.

Two days later after a long day, Benfry returns to his chambers, to find the young dark eyed boy sitting on his bed.
"Hello Lord Regent." he said with a smile.
