"I'll take the wolf boy." Said a voice coming from the door.
Roose turned to see who it was. There stood a man in faded blacks, a knotched sword and an old bow slung over his shoulder.

Roose raised an eyebrow but said nothing. The man at the door looked at Bracken for a while, rings of reddish smoke came from a small pipe, from which the sharp smell of sour leaf came from. "You don't want me here anyways, and I don't want to be here. Your lieutenants have been complaining anyways....something about 'having a problem with authority.'"

Hendry Dustin rides towards the Lord Commander's Tower, not willing to give up his expertly bred great red stallion, Conquest, until he had to. At the entrance to the tower he stepped off of his horse, warily handing him over to a young boy. He entered the tower and went up to the top.

"Until next time," said the ranger, giving a mock salute to the Lord Commander. He then pulled on Roose's arm and jerked his head in the direction of the door. When it was safely closed behind them the man spoke. "I passed Benjen Stark on my last ranging, I can help you find him."
Roose was about to ask why when he saw the man coming up the stairs. "Ah, Hendry Dustin, its is good that you are here to represent your house."

Hendry Dustin smirked as he saw Roose. "Ah, M'Lord Stark." Hendry took a short bow.
"I was happy to get back to the army. I miss being among my men. So, how are things up here on the Wall?"

"The Lord Commander doesn't like bastards, my kinsman is missing, and a blizzard has closed in...things are excellent." Roose says slightly deadpan.
He points to the man at his side. "However, this ranger has agreed to take us north. He says he can find Benjen Stark for us." He turned to look at him. "And your name is?"
"Qhorin." The vetern ranger said.

Hendry Dustin nodded. "Of course, my Liege. I will assemble my 100 best men and meet you at the gate. We'll show these Wildings who's who. " Hendry walked out of the tower and towards where his men were camped.

Before the sun rose, Ser Jon Lydden visited the sleeping men, loudly informing them that it was time to form up and continue to march south. Early in the morning on a cold, dreary day, 5,000 knights from the west rode south along the kingsroad.
