Horas Blackwood hears the voice of Steffen Lannister and goes out to meet him personally. He motions a small group of guards in the raven and weirwood livery of House Blackwood to escort him. The Raventree guard is still unsure of what to think of Horas, but their instincts of servility go deep, and they follow.
"My Lord of Lannister," Horas greets the newcomer with a slight bow, "I do not believe we have ever had the pleasure of a meeting. I am Horas Blackwood. My uncle is away presently, but perhaps I can see to your needs?"

Smiling cheerfully, Steffen answered. "Of course. In truth, i am here to primarily discuss the loyalty of the riverlands. Perhaps we could go somewhere more private?" He glances at the guards, and then at his wife.

Horas nods. "But of course. The lord's solar shall suffice, I think. If you'll follow me, Lord and Lady Lannister."
Horas leads the way to the solar. On the way, he waves his Dothraki bodyguard, Rhogo, over. "Head down to the kitchens and see if you can get the cook to make something for our guests. And some wine, too. The Tyroshi vintage we brought back will do, I think."

The prospect of a tourney greatly excites the people of Raventree Hall. The heir, Warren Blackwood, decides to attend, along with a pair of his lordling friends. Horas Blackwood will attend as well. He will not enter the lists, but his Guard Captain, Kennos Keath, will.

A message from Lord Baldwin
Lord Blackwood, at the meeting you attended at Casterly Rock I told you the King wants you to send two thousand men to the wall. Yet I have not even heard you called up any troops. Is there something wrong?
Please Reply swiftly.
Lord Baldwin Lannister Hand of the King

OOC: This is not Terrence's refusal to send in troops, but rather my error in either forgetting that or having never read it in the first place.

ooc: Royces and Blackwoods are forgetful. They both didn't remember to send troops. Tsk tsk tsk.

Two men are seen aproaching the gates of Raventree Hall. Once they are in distance to talk to the Guards one yells up, " I am Balerion Blackwood and ths my companion Tyrion. I am here to meet my second cousin....Lord Blackwood."
The Gaurds slowly open the gates and let the two in.

Horas strides down to the gates to meet his kinsman. The Blackwood family tree had grown so large and twisted that Horas was not precisely sure how he was related to the man waiting for him, nor much of the man at all. His mother was a Volantine noble, they said, and he had a gift for politics. Beyond that, Balerion Blackwood was an unknown to him.
Horas smiles and offers his hand in greeting to Balerion. "Welcome Balerion, and you as well, Tyrion. I am Horas Blackwood, nephew to Lord Terrence. Unfortunately, Terrence is not here right now... the politics of our realm have grown exceedingly violent of late, I'm afraid," Horas shakes his head sadly. "Nevertheless, it is always good to welcome more Ravens to the Hall."

A small band of riders in Dornish livery rode up to the gates of Raventree Hall. As they arrived, their leader yelled up.
"I bring tidings from the Princess of Dorne, for the ears of the Lord Paramount of the Riverlands. Might I have audience?"

Horas Blackwood turns and scrutinizes the riders for a moment. Dornish? What message could Emelia bring? When he speaks, however, Horas' voice is all courtesy.
"Lord Terrence is away in King's Landing, waging war, but I can hear your words and speak with his voice. Please enter."
The gates of Raventree Hall open and servants run to tend to the rider's horses and offer them food and drink.
