1. Princess Rhana Martell (or who ever she was) was married to late King Aemon I recall? Did she die with the rest of the targaryens? 2. Now that Emelia seems to be inactive for all I've heard, am I in charge of the house Martell? (This should make him active again don't you think! )

1. Rhana was married to Prince Aegon, but she was not killed. She would be in the dungeons of King's Landing along with Maerys' children.
2. I think that Emelia has just been busy lately, give it another week and then I'll give you a different answer :-P

1. Okay
2. Not a big deal, as long as there is nothing, that requires immediate actions.

I think Emelia made a mistake in seperating you guys from the rest of us. I know why her character would want to do it.
But it must make it hard to play. The Martells are technically outsiders now, not really involved in wars and the like. So there is never any reason for us to go south, and other then tourneys or wedding feasts there is harldy any reason for you guys to come north.

Well, mayby we are a bit "away from the inner circle", but if you take a look, you can see, that there hasn't been any kind of important activity at Highgarden, Runestone or Raventree either. I admit, we missed the battle of the wall, but this Kinslayer Aedon still holds Princess Rhana (or who the hell she was) as a prisoner in the Redkeep, so I guess we are in this conflict just like you are. What comes after that, I can't say, but I would guess, that this "Martells are outsiders" is mostly caused by our inactivity. I could be wrong now...

In the Riverlands, likely being harbored by other Riverlords.

It doesn't really change the game. Since Breyn has been gone over a month, most of the decisions regarding the Vale have been made by Elane, Rhodri, and Lilith together anyways. That's not about to change, since Robert Royce, Rhodri's uncle, will continue as Castellan at Runestone and be controlled by Elane. So while Rhodri has more official authority, game balance is largely unaffected.
As of right now, unless Brandon Royce emerges alive, Rhodri Royce is by the laws of inheritance Lord of Runestone and Defender of the Vale. As of right now he remains Lord of Storm's End, but he rules that via the authority granted by King Aegon IX and maintained by King Aemon, who is now dead. With no acknowledged King, it is up to Rhodri to hold on to Storm's End by force if he has to.
But don't worry; I'm sure the situation, as always, will change soon enough.
