When is an opponent beaten? Ten seconds and he's not back on his feet?

Steering the discussion back towards the joust (maybe we should have a separate melee thread?), I thought I'd list the three Stormland challengers in case I'm offline when the Stranger resolves it. After the Westermen challenge the current champions:
Ser Felwick Gower (a huge man, best known for the axe but a capable and intimidating horseman, and Storm's End Master-at-Arms); Ser Galwyn Fell (one of the best horseman in the Stormlands); Edric Dondarrion (Lord Redroyce's Squire)
Gower will challenge the winner of Spicer vs. Blackwood; Fell will challenge winner of Royce vs. Vikary; Dondarrion will challenge winner of Jast vs. Tyrell.
Unless more PC or PC henchmen step forward, this will close day 2 of the joust, leaving only the Contest of Champions and the Melee.

ooc: I think a seperate Melee thread would be good otherwise this thread will get full of people waiting for that and chattering (yes, like me) and disrupting the jousting thread. Oh and p.s. sending your squire against me, for shame Ser! (assuming of course I don't get duffed up by the customs guy - which would be ironic)

Will the melee be mounted or on foot? Regardless, all of Blackwood's rivermen who participated in the joust will be in the melee.

Thank you, Rhodri.
Spicer vs. Blackwood: Round 1: SS: 110 WB: 180
Spicer's lance goes up in the air as Ser Blackwood's lance crashes into the exact center of Spicer's shield, flinging the challenger to the ground with the blunt end of the lance fully embedded in his shield.

Gower vs. Blackwood:
Round 1: 92 vs 117 (Minor hit on Gower) Round 2: 126 vs 88 (Average hit on Blackwood) Round 3: 125 vs 137 (Minor hit on Gower) Round 4: 173 vs 172 (Whiff) Round 5: 142 vs 122 (Minor hit on Blackwood) Round 6: 146 vs 108 (Average hit on Blackwood) Round 7: 142 vs 88 (Heavy hit on Blackwood)
The two magnificently turn round the lists again and again, but in the later rounds, Blackwood's fatigue starts to tell. In the seventh pass, he is launched from his horse.

Edrick Dondarrion Galwyn Fell
Round 1: 157 vs. 102 (Heavy hit on Fell)
...and the Squire pulls it out. Rhodri, you now have three victories to narrate (Edrick vs. Jast, Grandison, Fell). Donal, you have one fight to narrate; your tilt with Jast.
