Northern Army camp

[Maester Maurin]

Marten Lannister arrives and asks to speak with Roose Stark.

[Percy Rivers]

A northern honour guard meets him and guides him into the camp. The leader, a man with a direwolf sown over his heart turned to speak to him. He had long grey hair with side whiskers stretching across his face. "I am Ser Rogers, captain of Lord Stark's outriders. It is a pleasure to meet you Lord Marten, even in recent circumstances, I remember your mother fondly."

[Maester Maurin]

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Ser Rogers. But you are mistaken, I am not a Lord." -He responds while being taken to see Roose.

[dienekes]

As he is brought to Roose's tent he is stopped by a tall thin man, wearing cleaned clothes and a large pink cloak. "Marten, a surprise to see you again." Sylas nods at the man.

[Maester Maurin]

"Greeting Sylas. I convinced Piers to send me as emissary here, and I hoped it would give us the chance to meet. And thanks for the warning to stay away from King`s Landing. It didn`t work, though." -He grins.

[dienekes]

"You survived. So my message worked well enough." Sylas nodded a greeting to Ser Rogers. "So what does Piers wish to say about our little venture?"

[Maester Maurin]

"He didn`t say much: go north or he will kill you."- He looks at Sylas.

"But frankly, I don`t think that opposing him openly is wise at that moment. He seems to have the Realm behind him."

[dienekes]

Sylas merely nodded. "Piers was ever one for blunt proposals. And I do not think I remember a time when the realm was not behind Piers, he is a very cunning politician."

[Maester Maurin]

Marten nodded and leaned to Sylas, lovering his voice to a whisper.

"Good thing is that my father was made new Regent of the West. We shalll use it to our advantage to avenge Elaena and Morax. But we need to plan it carefully."

[dienekes]

"Interesting." Sylas thought for a moment. "What forces are Piers sending aginst us? He certainly didn't send you up here on threats alone."

[Maester Maurin]

"Far Reach, 20 000 men, Stormlanders- around 10 000, and what remains of Riverlands force. But he can send more."

[dienekes]

"Do you know who's leading the armies?"

[Maester Maurin]

"I think that Alexander Irwyn and Tytos Blackwood are among the leaders- Lord Warren Blackwood is death. I am not sure who leads the Stormlanders."

[dienekes]

"That's all? Piers must be scrapping the bottom of his bag." Sylas thought for a moment. "And what of the Ironborn? and Dorne?"

[Maester Maurin]

"Dorne is again part of the Kingdom, and there were Ironborn forces near King`s Landing, but I don`t know what they will do now. Piers is keeping some cards close to him."
