Sylas for the first time looked mildly shocked. "Dorne is in the kingdom again, and I thought their princesses had more fire to them."

"Apparently Trizteza Martell considered her situation hopeless." -Marten says bluntly.

Sylas merely nodded. "I never had the pleasure to talk to her. Is she anything like Emelia was?"

"I heard that she is an intelligent woman, but I am not sure if she has Emelia`s will. I don`t know her, though."- He speaks with slight irritation. He expected his allies to be better prepared and informed.

"Interesting." Sylas responds. "I'll let the boy fill you in on our plans at the moment, Lannister." Sylas says as he enters Roose's tent.

Roose sits talking with a man bearing a giant breaking chains on his chest. "I want the wagons kept in the middle, with men enough to escort them." He looked up and saw Marten enter. His eyes flashed to look at the golden lion sown on Marten's chest. "A Lannister?" He looked closer, studying Marten. "You're Marten Lannister aren't you? I remember you from the tourney."

"Yes, I am, Lord Stark. I spent some time North. And I come as messanger from Lord Bettley. But I am still your kinsman. I requested to be sent here."- He says, assessing Roose in return. Is he a boy, or a man?

"The Lord Lannister is a friend, I believe." Sylas told his liege lord. "I also have news of Bettely, boy." He placed several small letters down before their table.

Roose stood and held out his hand. "Starks are few and far between these days Marten. The question is, are you a Stark? Or are you a Stark?"

Marten seems a bit amused.
"Obviously I am Lannister. But I respect the Northern part of my heritage and want to embrace it." You want to judge me, boy? And how much of Stark are you?

Roose kept his hand out, a slight grin on his face. "The only other Stark I've had the chance to talk to is Benjen Stark. It will be nice to see something other than a frown on the face of one of my kinsmen."

"I would love to keep you company, but first we must discuss the consequences of your moving south. Do you plan to overthrow Piers? It will likely end in even more death and destruction for the North, I believe."- Marten takes the hand, but wastes no time in getting to business.
