Blackhaven's great hall is just that- an impressive hall with great furnishings and tapestries displaying Dondarrion history.

Ser "Black" Ben Tollett stood in Blackhaven's hall, sharpening his sword on a whetstone, while trying to take a bite of everyone else's food. He sat strategizing for the inevitable confrontation of arms. His opinion (that they should mobilize fast against the Dornishmen) was loudly heard over the sharpening of his sword.

Ser Brandon Buckler says "The Songlord shall make that choice with his host. But the men under my command are to stand fast at Blackhaven. No matter what happens in Dorne, we will not see strife in the Stormlands, and Blackhaven must hold."

The man in Blackwood colors is brought to Ser Cedrik Lonmouth, to whom the man's question is repeated.
"He's busy currently", comes Cedrik's reply as he gathers himself up, "And I have plenty of roasted meats waiting for me, so is there anything else you've come for?"

Benfry stands on the parapets of Blackhaven, gazing out to the south, as if trying to catch sight of the Dornish host.
In his travels he has managed to procure a white cloak. Whilst not as grand as his previous Lord Commander's attire, it serves it's purpose to identify him as a member of the Kingsguard and he feels much more comfortable with himself whilst wearing it.

Robb Tarly steps up silently beside Benfry, following the man's gaze to the south. He does not speak for fear of interrupting some important thought of the Lord Regent's.

Benfry stirred "Ah, Lord Tarly. How do you fare this evening? I was just thinking whether this would all come to battle. Despite the turblulent times we find ourselves in, I have yet to experience war" his face twisted "I cannot say I am looking forward to the prospect, even at the thought of crossing swords with those who have shed the blood of my brothers. Revenge is a hollow comfort"

A look of surprise washed over Robb's face before he spoke. "It's funny you should say that, Ser... about revenge being a hollow comfort, I mean. I hope that is not true," he said. And then with an apologizing look for not explaining himself, he dejectedly added, "Revenge is all I have thought of day and night since my father was slain in the Red Keep. I had been hoping it would restore my spirits to see those responsible die a criminal's death. But, alas, I guess I will never be comforted."

Benfry looked at the young noble with sympathy "Perhaps you may find some sense of satisfaction at the thought of those who committed such a horrible crime being brought to justice, but nothing will bring back your father or my fallen brothers, Lord Tarly" he sighed
"I am sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear, I fear I find myself in a black mood these days"

Robb studied the older man for a moment and then chided himself inwardly. Who am I to bring my self-pity to this man who has the realm on his shoulders? Egotistical as always, Robb thought, angry at himself. "I have no doubt the criminals will be brought to justice, and you will be restored to your rightful place as the Lord Regent," Robb said, before returning his gaze back to the south, determined not to say too much again.

Ser Cedrik Lonmouth joins the two men atop Blackhaven's parapets. Now he's an unfamiliar man, though in his youth some might have mistaken him for his brother, a Kingsguard. Now his hair is worn short and most of his looks have faded faster than he's aged. Still proudly cloaked in his house's colors, though, he makes for an impressive sight.
