"I am afraid we have had some distressing events, recently, my lord. In Lord Alyn's absence, his sister Samantha has gone missing. The girl is a wild and adventurous child, and has disappeared before, but she usually returns several days later covered in dirt and smiling proudly at how long she eluded us for. But it has been several weeks now that she has been gone." Hellman continued to nervously stroke his moustache.
"I have men looking all around for her, but there has been no trace. By now she could be anywhere."

"That is distressing indeed. How old is the girl?" Roland asked.

"Three and ten, my lord. I say thankfully that she managed to convince her brother to have her taught some skill with the sword. I pray it was enough for her to take care of herself."

Roland frowned, "Still being alone in this winter cannot be a good thing, I shall have some men look after her".

"Thank you, my lord," Ser Hellman said sincerely bowing his head.

"Has Lord Corbray been informed of his missing sister?"

Hellman shook his head. "I'm afraid I do not know his current whereabouts, beyond that he has travelled to the east. There is no way to get a message to him."

"The Far East? What would he do there?" Roland frowned. "I think he went with cousin Brynden, Roland," Brandon said as he entered sword in hand and Howland sitting atop his shoulders looking at the sword in wonder.
Roland hmm'ed as he took the sword from Brandon. "Here it is Ser Corbray, Lady Forlorn," Roland said as he presented the sword to Ser Hellman.

Hellman took the sheathed Valyrian steel sword carefully with both hands, handling it as if it were made of glass.
"My thanks, Lord Royce. I hope the return of this blade will give Alyn some small comfort in the face of the news of his sister upon his return."

"Is she d-dead?" Howland asked still atop Brandon's shoulder sounding a bit sad.

Hellman looked crestfallen at the thought.
"We pray she is still alive and well. She was always a cunning girl."

"Oh," Howland said looking down at the floor. "Brandon since you have mentioned how bored you have been of late, I was hoping you could take part in looking for Samantha Corbray," Roland said. Brandon looked thoughtfull for a bit then nodded.

"I'm grateful for the help, Brandon, I'll provide as much information to you as I know to help your search, though I grant that that isn't much."

"I am sure we'll find her, Ser Hellman. You could tell me the information on the way to Heart's Home," Brandon said.
