For a moment he sat confused before anger took over again. "I am deadly serious. Although I know that a serious problem is created by there not being a concrete will written by her, this is what she wished be done. I only want to fulfill her wishes."

"When she discussed the matter with me, she did not know if she wished to leave it to Brynden or Tyberion." Cedric replied, "Since it is now my choice, rest assured it was not a difficult decision."

Darien frowned. "I heard her words, Ser, and know her wish. I had hoped for things to be easier, but it seems they may not." He spurred Winterfrost away and turned. "I will see Brynden wield that sort, one way or another." With that he rode away.

Having calmed down a little, Darien rides up to Asha. "Well, that didn't go too well."

William glances back at the Bastard Brother of the late Aranya Lannister and her husband.

Darien notices the glance and gives the young man a wave. "Ser William Tyrell, I am guessing?"

William nods slowly at the man, "That would be correct. I am sorry about your Sister Ser Darien."

Darien decides not to correct the man on the fact that he isn't a knight but trots Winterfrost to be level with the man. "Ah, it was a noble death at the least... one however that seems to create some problems." He then smirked a little. "I see my name seems to be known by quite a few people now. Deep Den seems to have given me at least a little reputation... one however that could have died had your relieving army not come. I must thank you for that."

"If it allows us to defeat this scum it is quite alright. Have you learned anything more about Ser? I have been traveling a lot so I have not been able to hear much."

Darien shook his head. "Unfortunately no. Seems I've been too busy killing these damn lizards to gather any real information." Going to itch the beard that wasn't there anymore, Darien stopped himself and went to idly fumble with one of the reigns. "What do you think our chances are at King's Landing. With any luck the city has taken it's toll on their numbers."

"We can only trust in the Warrior to make sure that the walls hold. And the brains of men like Benfry Smith and Aemon Webber." William smiles at Darien.

"Let us hope for the best." Darien said with a sad smile, before turning and riding back to Asha. "Sorry about that. It seems I get easily distracted these days."

Rowyn shifted in his saddle and spat on the ground. He had not been used to a soldiers life when he attached himself to the Kingdom Army that had liberated Lannisport, but anything was better than what he'd suffered under the invaders. Under the alias of Ser Rowyn the Red, he had fought under the walls of Deep Den. He had not done much to distinguish himself, but he had survived, and that was more than could be said of a lot of heroes.. Scowling, he spurred his mount ahead, eager to reach the capital. Even a battle was preferable to rubbing his arse raw on this damned saddle.
