A page brought his equipment, and Garrett turned and, taking Lady Sara's hand, kissed it again. "I am sorry we could not have a more pleasant conversation, my lady. If you would join me now, I can teach you how to aim your arrow," he smiled at her.

Tallahar looks from Lady Sara Royce to Garrett and smiles "Boy you need a woman to defend you that must be your knightly courage" taking a step back and and letting go of his sword "very well then we will see who is the better man at this tourney, Good day to you Mylady" Tallahar bowing to Sara, then turning and leaving.

Garrett gently took Lady Sara's arm. "There's a quiet apple tree grove over there beyond the archery buts. We could carve targets on the trees to practice, or aim at the apples. That's how I did it when I was learning."

In the grove, Garrett shows Lady Sara how to hold her bow correctly. He decides that he likes the way her dark hair falls to her shoulders in little ringlets, and he likes the way she smiles at him.
"You're aim is off because of the way you look," he says in her ear. "Sight down the line of the arrow, not over the bow. And hold it like this." He gently adjusts her fingers.
