Piers' rooms in Casterly Rock are richly furnished. Several heavily laden bookshelves line the walls. The only detraction from the rooms decor was a large panel of wood with the crude shape of a man drawn on it, several daggers are stuck into the outline.

Piers enters the room leaving the door open behind him, he limps to the an indented spot on the floor and turns to face his knife target.

She examined the outline and then tossed a dagger into the center, right at the heart of the heart. "There is a myth that the heart is on the left side of the body but myth it is."
She then grinned a quite wicked grin. "I need some props for playing healer, give me a minute." She ducked out the door and returned shortly with a bag. She proceeded to strip her leathers, dab herself from a bottle of alcohol and don a clean but very plain shift. She then doused her hands with alcohol and let them air dry.
"Off with your trows and on to the bed with you, my love." He grinned a delightfully wicked grin and in return, she patted him on his ass. "Face down for now, m'dear, I suspect back problems."
He seemed to reluctantly agree to her terms, but did lie down on his bed.
She ran her hands up his bad leg, and then his good leg, and then up and down his back. Her touch was gentle but he visibly winced when her hands hit a number of sensitive places. "The breaks in your leg have not healed cleanly. If you ever have a spare few weeks, I have a bone master who could rebreak and pin your leg, but it would be a painful couple of weeks. Tonight though, I think a massage might help with the worst of it."
She started with his neck and shoulders and worked her way systematically down his back and his body. As she worked she started talking about Petra, how lively and funny and fierce she was, how she asked for shields and swords or daggers and bow and arrows for all her dolls, how her favorite bedtime stories were of Ser Beetle scuttling about in the nighttime (Piers laughed at this, Lilith then pushed hard on a particularly sensitive spot and informed him that all Ser Beetle stories had been carefully edited for tender ears). After she had massaged both legs and his feet, she patted the foot of his bad leg and said, "A lift in your shoe would help as well, your legs are now different lengths and it is throwing your back out."
She finally fell silent but instead of stopping her massage, her hands began to wander randomly along his body.

Piers laughed and rolled over to grab his boot from the floor, reaching into it he pulled out a lift from inside. Leaping from bed; he did a back flip, wincing from pains as he lands he sits down on the bed smiling at Lilith. "The wound did not heal perfectly as you say, but It still works quite well, I fake the bad limp to fool enemies and friends alike. I never would have gotten such a lovely message otherwise." Piers laughs again.
"Did you garner that I had a unfortunate run in with Kid Death. I must admit that man got inside my defenses in many ways. I still worry about him." Piers stops smiling for a moment, then forces it back and touches Lilith's face. "So it sounds like Petra is quite the handful. But of course how could our offspring be anything else?"

She winced as he landed his rather elegant backflip, and raised an eyebrow at his claim that his limp was faked, but allowed herself to to worry about the more immediate issues.
"I would not want Kid Death as a sworn enemy. Do you think he is actively seeking you?"
A frison of fear flitted through her. She allowed herself to be reassured by the warmth of Piers's presence. It was damn nice to see him again.
She changed subjects again and continued, "I do hope you and Petra get to know and love one another. You have the same verve." She grinned, "I find it irrestitable in both of you though of course my reactions to you play out rather differently."
She paused briefly, and her face took on a serious look. "Saying thank you is not nearly recomponse enough for making Petra your heir, but I did want to tell you that I appreciate it. She is too young to understand what that means, or even to really know that it is a gesture of love from her father, but I do tell her Brave Ser Beetle loves her. I think that's why those stories are her favorites. "
Lilith smiled wryly. "She might have your verve and bloodthirsty streak, but she has my sentimentality."

"Luckily Kid Death doesn't know about our encounter. So don't tell Petra those stories." Piers leaned back and just looked at Lilith for a long time with a silly expression on his face.
"A thousand words are choked up just inside here." Piers touches his throat, "I want to know every minuscule detail of you and Petra. Talk to me. Tell me some Lady Petra stories."

Lilith was on the point of exhaustion, she had ridden in that day, so she couldn't tell Piers all she wanted to about the blithe, fierce spirit that was Petra, but she did say that she woke up cheerful in the morning, was happy all day until five minutes before she fell asleep, would on occasion weep and wail copiously about no particular issues and then fall sound asleep mid-cry. The widow shared her concerns about how long this idyllic childhood of being surrounded by sunshine and animals and adventure could or should last (she wryly noted being comfortable in silks was a skill she would like Petra to have even if she didn't like the training).
She turned to the adventures of the band, particularly the brutal hauling they seemed to be in the midst of, clearing out a massive maester's library from a tall tower "Not what I thought I was signed up for!" she said with a laugh. Eventually she became too tired for another word.
Of course, words are not always necessary.

Piers wraps Lilith in his arms and smiles, "You look tired, go to sleep; I will only be about ten minutes and I promise not to wake you." Piers laughs.

Lilith kisses Piers. "Funny, I remembered you as a bit more stimulating than that."

*ooc: Oh my f*cking g*d, two brutal days of packing, and an 6 hour drive in a Penske rental truck, including a glamorous hour in dead still traffic just outside of St. Louis. Still the Super 8 has free internet so life ain't all bad.*

"I did not want to tell you but my leg was not the only thing broken in my daring adventures." Piers laughed then kissed Lilith deeply.

Lilith wriggled a little and laughed. "I must be a cure for such afflictions. Healer to the end, I am."

Piers laughed, "Its a miracle." He started moving in sync with her, and soon couldn't think of anything witty to say.

ooc: I've moved something like 20 times in the last 25 years. I still get a thrill from it everytime ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png) For the first time though, I feel like I'm moving to rather away from a home. It is my devout hope that I'll never move again!
