"Have a couple more. That will prove your masculinity." Baldwin frowned, "Son when you marry a dark haired women, you may have dark haired children. None will doubt your virility."

The Lannister heir nods, "Alright father, I understand."

Baldwin entered his chambers and waited for Balor to enter, "What do you plan on taking Lord Greyjoy. There has never been a fire like what is about to be lit in the Seven Kingdoms. I can not imagine you Ironborn not striking while this oppprutunity lies before you."

Lord Balor smiled coldly "Straight to the point Baldwin. That's what I like about you Lannisters, you do not waste words on small talk" he paused briefly, eyeing the oppulence of Lord Baldwin's chambers "Very well then. You are correct. The war of dragon and stag was quick and relatively bloodless, Dorne even more so. This intercine conflict is a different matter however, for those bold enough to strike. The Storm King returns, the Dragons are weakened and divided and now I hear in Lannisport that Dondarrion has proclaimed himself King" he said the last increduously. "So yes, the ironborn will take a part and see what can be gained from such chaos" he paused again, considering his words carefully "Quite as to why I should share my plans with you is another matter. Our people have not often seen eye to eye. I believe someone tried to spit on me as I walked though the Lannisport docks". He smiled again "Happily for me, he found it difficult to do so after Igar smashed him in the mouth"
Balor sat and helped himself to a glass of wine. Checking the bottle he said, "Arbor Red, 479? A very fine year. Your taste as always is impeccable Baldwin" taking a sip, he made an appreciative noise and glanced at Lord Baldwin again "I suppose I can tell you that the Storm King has sent a representative to me and I have agreed to support his cause, pending a better offer?" he waited patiently for Lord Baldwin's response.

OOC: FYI -- Dondarrion proclaiming for himself should not be that much a surprise -- his mother was a full-blooded Targrayen. He is a member of that family. Just so you know.

OOC: Aye, that makes Dondarrion an excellent claimant to a throne with so few heirs.

OOC: I just wasn't sure if most players were aware of that. If they weren't, Dondarrion's ambition would seem out of place. It's good people know he is in fact a Targ -- silver haired, even.

Edmure opened the door to Baldwin's chambers a crack, "my lords?"

"I am not here to buy your swords Balor. If I need to kill people I will do it myself." Baldwin sat down his back stony and straight. "I am planning at this point for after the war. Right now there are three Kings an a Princess. We are only three kings short of completely undoing the last five centuries."
Pouring himself a glass of wine, "I am surprised you have sold your allegiance to any one. The only thing keeping the Ironborn back, I thought, was the combined threat of the seven Kingdoms. Now I find that Your people were just waiting a high enough bid."

Edmure sat there listening to the conversation, he had learned during his years of smuggling that a piece of information can be more valuable than any amount of gold.

One of Baldwin's men-at-arms turns to his sargeant, and points questioningly at Edmure. This causes Baldwin to look up at the sailor.
Blinking once in surprise, Baldwin says, "Have you returned my ship Seaworth?"

"My orders to let you escape just barely saved your life. My admiral tricked you into revealing yourselves. So he knew. Aye, I did not want any Baratheons dying under my watch." Badlwin stared coldy at him, and waved him into the room.

Edmure took a seat half way between Baldwin and Balor. "And why wouldn't you want them dying, the Baratheons have caused you enough trouble in the past."

Baldwin stared at the man, "Aye, their foolish father drove me to rebellion. Still the two who came here were young fools." Baldwin laughed once, "I know the rumors claim I drink the blood of new borns to stay young, but most are not true. I have never killed with out it being necessary."
