Markus Roxton entered the tavern, and sat at the bar to order an ale. As he drank it, he caught the barkeep's attention. "You got a big ol' buxom wench workin' here? Red hair, she 'as," he added, as an additional descriptor.

Dickon chuckled as they left. "I love doing that." He allowed the Vale Knight to lead as he followed him outside, starlting a bit by Podrick's sudden appearance. "Our wench isn't at work. We'll be heading to her house then. Mud street. Creative name."

"Ooooh then there's where Greg was going..." Podrick nodded proudly to himself as if had just discovered a living dragon.

Sasha swaggered into the room behind the others. She glanced all around. "Sorry, lads, had some difficulties on the road." OOC - sorry, guys, was applying for jobs

Podrick's eyes met Sasha, I the same moment he felt his lips smiling. "My lady is beautiful as always..." He kneeled to kiss her hand. "May I have the honor?!?"
Since he was hired some months ago, the young vale man had developed a strange passionate fascination for the Crownlander.

Sasha snatched her hand away. She wondered what it was with these men who insisted on trying to initiate something with her against her wishes. She was no highborn lady with a fancy gown, jewels and long hair down to her waist, after all, though she had played that role once or twice when their duties required. So she did what she always did in these suggestions and rejected the attention, for her own good and Podrick's.
"I told Dickon, and I'll tell you, I don't mix work with friendship. Nor anything else. Now get up, fool, or I'll give you a swift kick in the ribs."

"Sorry, my beauty!" Pod returned to his feet and brushed his clothes.

"Let's hurry after the others," Sasha declared. "Well, I am, even if you aren't."
She hurried after Creighton and Dickon.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////// Markus arrives back at the Red Pony, and rents a room on the upper floor. After paying the innkeeper, he bolted the door and sat down to begin working on the cipher that he had taken from the shanty house. He vaguely wondered for a moment if the others had gotten away, but then disregarded the thought and started to work.
[Noteworthy Espionage] [He'll work on this for 6 hours]

Gregory hurriedly chose a room, gesturing for Creighton to lay down. "Get any screaming out of your system now. This will hurt more than a little bit." Creighton looked around for something to bite down on, finding a piece of wood that would fit perfectly in his mouth, before laying down on his stomach and face toward the floor. He wondered silently if the dornishman had slipped away from the guards as well, if he had Creighton would make sure that he'd never be able to shoot with his crossbow again. "I'm ready, maybe ye should find one of our friends, since I'm pretty sure that I need someone to hold me down." he said, before biting down on the piece of wood.

Gregory nodded thoughtfully, before shrugging. He peeked out of the door, glancing around. "Little help here?"

After several hours of work, Gregory has Creighton in a place where he was comfortable that he would live. (Creighton is at -20 for the next several days, then will be lowered to -10.)
Markus, with some help from Sasha, put together most of what he thought the note might say.
"The Temple is there, certain of it. Acquired key from an agent of the ENEMY as requested, but may have been made. Hope your People arrive in time."

"Hmmm," he said thoughtfully, after he'd completed the last version of what the note should say. This sentence was at least intelligable, and there was a long list of uninteligable "words" above it on, combinations that had been tested and made no sense. "Reckon we didn't arrive in time. We'll have to get t'the temple fast, if we'r'to find what Lord Cave wants there."
