"Oh?" Nymeria asked, an eyebrow raised. "And do tell me, uncle, what that last part is supposed to mean?" She spoke still in a friendly manner, though it was clear she was a lion underneath.

Evan rubbed his chin, her arrogance was strong but it was not Dornish arrogance this was Lannister arrogance. He will tread carefully with his words,"It means that my dear sister did not have much of a Dornish influence on you, for if she did..." His gaze went to Doreah and then back to his niece,"You would have known to not have chosen to dress in this way. Royal Dornish women, even though it is hot only wear such revealing clothing in their most private of chambers."
"They are still considered mysterious to some", he looked at her,"That is why those outside of Dorne, o not understand our ways", he smiles,"which is a good thing at times."

"Or my mother might have taught me that I myself am not a royal dornish woman, and thus was not subject to such things," Nymeria answered with a small giggle. "Or maybe to show confidence and display my beauty; that I have nothing to hide from the world."

He rubbed his forehead lightly, knowing his sister, this young one was all Lannister. "Hmmm, that may have been, but... If you wanted to display your beauty, your face and your pride would have been enough."
He placed his hand on hers,"It's not considered hiding when you have things to treasure", he looked at her,"Leaving something to imagine creates anticipation. If you have already shown your wares who would want to have them? Only those that do not have honorable intentions in mind."

"Oh trust me, I have far more to show," Nymeria answered with a wink.
"No one told me you Dornish were so prude," She said after taking a sip of watered wine. "Or is it just you, uncle?" She smiled again, this time a little more genuine and friendly.

"Dornish are not prudes." He chuckled,"and neither am I, just very protective of my family." Evan stared at her,"And you are my family, so it is necessary."
"You should come visit us, when you get a chance with your mother. I am sure you will have good time", he smiled,"it seems we do not have any time these days to see each other as family." HE then looked back at Lady Rhysling. Evan then kissed his niece's hand,"Now if you will excuse me, Nym... Like your aunt Lyssa, I too have to entertain, but make yourself at home. We shall talk again, if you wish."

"Mhm," Nymeria simply said. "I would like to see Dorne of course. It has been calling to me for a while." She smiled again and walked off to look for someone else to speak to.

Edric gave the princess a smile and figured they could still talk later. He stepped to the side so the Royce girl would have better access to the host, and noticed Nymeria Lannister talking to the Martell prince. Once he had left, Edric spoke up, "Suppose you cannot say anymore that you haven't met your Dornish family."

"It seems that way," She said with a small nod. "Or rather, I have met one member of my family, who is all but an old man." She laughed.

Edric raised an eyebrow, but seemed amused as he glanced at Evan to make sure he had not overheard. "And I suspect there is another one," he said, nodding at Lyssandra and the Royce girl. "Don't you want to introduce yourself?"

"Oh my lady , but it is", he grinned. "That is why we are most active at night because of the heat, hence Lyssa's choosing of the party hour." Evan stared at her,"We do have the vast deserts but.. Sunspear like all of our cities and towns have a wealth of beauty and live according to our surroundings." He put his arm out for her to take,"Please, have a seat with me and I will tell you about our home." Evan leads her back to the spot where he was seated. She seemed willing enough as she took her seat. "I did not know your people were more active at night. Does that mean you sleep during the day? I have never heard of such a thing before, except in those who are sick...or drink. Do you at least have lots of cool water to bathe in?"

Taking his seat again, he chuckled at her question,"No, we do move around in the day but not as much, the heat limits most of the moving around." He picked up his glass,"Our baths are tepid at best, who would want to sweat taking a bath and then be finished and still sweating. Very uncomfortable."
Evan took a sip,"We also dress in clothes that are more suited to the temperature."

"Of course. I imagine that means rather less clothing," she teased. "I hear your people are lusty. Would the heat have something to do with it?"

Evan laughed,"Only less clothing in our chambers, my dear Lady."
"The heat does influence a lot of things",He drank his wine,"but the lust that the Dornish are said to have, it is in our blood, but..,"he looked at her,"some of us know how to control it."
He stared at her,"What is on your mind, My Lady?"

"Not much," she said with a little shrug, before drinking some wine. "I simply wanted to see if I found you as agreeable as I did at court. And I do. So all is well."
She leaned in close. "Not everything can or should be controlled."
