"My Lady," Ser Finn said, with a deep bow, as the men clunked down the heavy chest of "gifts". "I thank you for taking the opportunity to meet with my, My lord Cave is most grateful, I assure you."

"I am not his friend per say," Ser Finn replied, "Although my mother was from the Vale yes." He gave a half smile.

"I imagine you are aware of Prince Damon's recent exile, and disappearance?" Ser Finn replied, oblivious to the fact he did not answer the question.

"As to that, My lord has recently been in conversation with one of the Kingdom's most influential... men, and there was an agreement that your house might do a great service to the Kingdom, in the matter." Ser Finn said.

"It has come to our attention that Prince Damon is... smitten with a young lady of your house. I believe unwed. This would make your house a very attractive ally for Prince Damon in his rebellion against the King." Ser Finn said. "As such, were you to suggest to his grace the Prince that in exchange for this favorable marriage, you would be willing to support his rise against the throne." Finn coughed slightly, "A very convincing story, and attractive, since it offers him two things he wants. The lioness cub, and a powerful family to rally to his standard."

Maester Theo, a stolid and somewhat rotund man, entered the room ahead of Lady Doreah herself. He nodded respectfully to both Winifred and Ser Finn and sat down.

"Mhmmm," Maester Theo said, contemplating. "An interesting proposal. Suggestive of wheels already in motion. I must wait for Lady Lannister."

Ooc: so sorry for this post guys, I had like 30 seconds
Doreah strode into the audience chamber behind Maester Theo, casting Winnifred Lannister one of her most noteworthy disparaging looks that she had been reserving for just such an occasion.
"I hope Lady Winnifred has keep keeping you adequately amused, Ser Finn. This is one of the disadvantages of being so routinely busy as a Regeant for the Rock in my husband's absence. I am fortunate Lady Winnifred, who is quite more unoccupied, helps me in greeting our guests so they do not lack for conversation. She has even warmed my chair for me--thank you, dear Mother." She looked at her pointedly.
When the woman explained the purpose of Ser Finn's visit, however, her face became grim, all pretenses dropped. This was not good. She wished the man had never come here with this proposal. "Ser Finn, I'm afraid any intentions concerning my daughter will have to be more plainly laid-out before me. The words you speak are interesting but meaningless unless you are able to reframe them in a more cogent manner. Currently,Remy feelings toward this are rather tepid." She surveyed him expectantly.

If Ser Finn took umbrage at being told his word's were not cogent, he did not say so.
"Those with a responsibility for the security of the realm fear an uprising from Prince Damon. Offering your House's allegiance as bait he could be summoned here and detained lest he stir revolt among less loyal houses is the proposal being suggested. This sign of your house's sincere loyalty would not go unnoticed. Or unrewarded."

"The risk imposed by such a plan would be high for house Lannister," Maester Theo commented. "Prince Damon is an... unpredictable man. What if he never comes here? What if he gathers other houses and expects Westerners to fight and die for him?" He looks at Doreah. "Simply some things that should be thought about."

"You would need to lure him here. The promise of Lady Teirney's hand should accomplish that, if our information on his feelings in that regard are accurate, which they are," Ser Finn replied, with a slight cough. "The insistence that a marriage be properly accomplished would not be a surprising request, on your House's part, and it is something that can... not be accomplished except in person. As for his finding other supporters, that is why you must act quickly. As for the risk, this is for the good of the realm, and far less risky than war."

"I should think that you would quietly let the matter be known, and word will reach him. Lord Saxon is certainly prepared to assist in helping create that impression." Ser Finn said.

Ser Finn smiled at the new entry, and bowed politely.
"It is not a whim, Prince Damon will come." Finn replied.
