"No one asked my Lord as to Prince Damon's mental state, either prior to his attendance where the unfortunate incident occurred," Ser Finn replied politely, although he did not back down, and so the old womans' face was still smashed only inches from his own.
"And our friend does not see this as a calamity for House Lannister," he pointed out, "but an incredible opportunity both for advancement and to fulfill the leal service which, it obviously need not be said, is their duty."

Finn sighed, "my Lord merely offers knowledge, and opportunity. We can suggest the bait, and point you to the best fishing hole, but can't make you cast the line. The choice is of course your own."

"Actually no, I meant Lord Cave, and through him me." He replied, "The problem was brought to Lord Cave, and he proposed a possible solution, and it was approved as acceptable, and I am here fulfilling my part."

"What will you wager?" Ser Finn replied, smile widening.

Ser Finn just smiled and shook his head. "I've told you everything you need to know to make the proper inference" he said, "People don't come to Lord Cave to have their names repeated idly. A fact I hope you'll respect, and appreciate if you ever come to use his services."

"So, I should return to King's Landing and inform Lord Saxon that House Lannister is more interested in bartering than accomplishing great deeds on behalf of the realm." He sighed, and shook his head disappointed.
"Very well. I have said all I came to say. I am hopeful that you will take the suggestion under advisement, but if you do not, then I understand as well. You must put your house first. I wish you the very best of luck in turbulent times to come."

The Maester gave a cough. "Might I suggest we think on this for a night, Ser Finn? Surely you can spare us that much? There are plenty of rooms at the Rock for you and your fellows."

"I'm not sure its necessary. I've provide what information I can, so whether you proceed or not the rest is up to your discretion." Ser Finn said, "Although I don't reject hospitality, on principle."

"I thank you" Ser Finn said. He motioned to his men who picked up the chest, "I'm certain that your steward can show me the way.

OoC: SO sorry guys!
Doreah raised a brow at Winnifred’s vehemence in the matter—the woman overstepped her bounds. She would need to work harder on fixing that particular quirk. However, she was admittedly satisfied with Lady Winnie’s words, possibly for the first time to date.
“Yes, Ser Finn, expect me with your answer. Until that time, the Rock is yours—do make certain to enjoy it.”
As the man made his way out, she traded a grim look with Winnie. This was a highly unpleasant matter, but she was glad to have the general support of the family.
