He nodded and took a few breathers himself. "I will meet you in your Solar." He smiled.
Later in the Solar (Batman time change)
Harold is seated down across from Gwaynes desk waiting with a smile.

The servant provided Harold with a cup of wine and waited with him until Gwayne appeared in clean attire. He sat down facing his guest and dismissed the servant at once.
"Well, Lord tully, what can I do for you?"

"I have come here to speak to you about a possible Military Alliance that was brought to my attention ten years ago before the war, If you are still intrested I feel that we could all benefit from this, with the Rumors of the West raising for rebellion, Westeros's second largest army will be on the war path should a War start again, your ships could stop any fleet that come down from Lanisport or even the Iron Islands." He looks to him.

"That is interesting," said Gwayne. "But I am not sure where the advantage lies for me. I am not as close either to the West or the Islands as you are, my lord. If you will forgive my bluntness."

"I believe the West is to your north is it not?" He looked confused. "Besides, the Ironborn are going to come down even if you like it or not, and they are probably going to take as many ships as they can with them." He looks to him. "You and I, with aid of other allies I have gathered could be enough to stop a rebellion if it begins. War is Hell Lord Hightower, you know that, and it will effect you one way or another." He says.

"Yes. But I will remind you that the Mander is closer to the West than my own lands. Why not ally with them too? Which other allies do you currently have?" Gwayne asked, inclined to be wary.

Harold smiles. "I have made arrangements with Dorne, and yes the Mander has allies, and they are Loyal to the Crown." He looks to him. "But, your ships would be a value and I am negotiating with the Mander." he comments. "Your aid would be a welcome addition to theirs. Do you not agree?"

"It would, certainly. but I would prefer to see more evidence of how this arrangement benefits me personally. Is that so wrong, my lord?" Gwayne asked. "My lords will take it ill - my uncle Redwyne in particular - if I commit the Arbor's ships to the possibility of a war which may not even happen. They will require tangible proof that the alliance benefits the Far Reach."

"Apart from the trade Alliance gives, I can give you no other option, I will admit, I am preparing for war time, in peace time, however being in my situation I need to be, unless caught unawares, perhaps there is something you wish from us? Because I fear I do not know what you could want." He asks.

"I need to think about it some more," Gwayne admitted. "After all, my first priority is to defend Oldtown and the Arbor and the surrounding lands, not rush to aid the Riverlands if they are threatened. So my question is, if I bring the ships of the Arbor to this alliance, what are you bringing?"

"This alliance is not single sided Gwayne, The Riverlands has a sizable army, we would come and protect you and Oldtown, if the Mander agree with me and we maintain the Alliance with the Dornish that is two borders that you do not need to care for, and only one to your north and the seas at your side. So not only are you protected by this alliance, but you have room to focus on a simple matter." He explains looking to him.

"I hope you will give me time to consider it," Gwayne mused. "Perhaps...a token of good faith on either side might be offered. I would like to speak with the Dornish. Would you do me the courtesy of assisting me in gaining their acquaintance? I cannot claim to know any of them particularly well."
He paused.
"And how about binding our houses in blood? There's nothing like a marriage to seal an alliance. I've two unwed sisters and two unwed brothers, and I am sure you have kin in need of a husband or wife"

"Of course, I did not come here as an ultimatum." He looked to him. "If they wish for that, I am sure Evan Martell would not mind talking to you." He nodded.
"That is how ties are normally formed, I have a daughter three sons, and myself if needed to marry."

"Introduce me to Prince Evan and the matter shall proceed as you desire," Gwayne vowed. "As to this marriage, who among your house do you most desire to be wed?"

"Most likely my Heir, have you any women who may be available for such pairing?" He asked
