"Truly? I am sure the doing of the West are no concern of mine," Izzy replied. "Whyever should they wish to raise an army?"

"Rumors say to support the Rebel Prince...." He says. "The West is right above your homelands Lady Isabel, is it really no concern of yours?" he asks.

"Perhaps it may be, but where have you heard these rumours?" Izzy asked. "How reliable are they? Rumour is not always right."

"I have been around town and at the docks, they are everywhere my Lady, but you are right they are but Rumors but even rumors tend to stem from some truths." He says.

"Perhaps. I have just not heard it myself," she said. "But no matter. Ought I to write to my brother and ask him to raise his banners?"

"No, but this is a reason I wish to talk to your Brother Isabel, perhaps we can work out an alliance of sorts, we are neighbors, we can protect each other if the time comes, if it is necessary." He looks to her. "Do you not agree?"

"Mayhaps. Perhaps Gwayne will be coming to court. That's likely, with a coronation on the way. I am not able to discuss military matters, myself, but I would be happy to put in a word for you if you like?"

"If You wish, I will probably be stopping by again should I hear that he has arrived." He says with a smile, he stands and kisses the Woman's hand, "In any case, thank you for allowing me to ask my questions and cease my curiosity."

The day after the feast at the Garden Manse, Jennalynn came to the Hightower Manse and asked for Lady Isabel.

Jennalynn was shown in at once. Izzy, simply garbed since she was at home, welcomed her with a smile.
"Lady Jennalyn! Welcome! I hope you have been keeping well? Would you like a drink? Some food?"

Jennalynn returned Isabel's smile with one of her own. She took herself a seat before being offered one, she was tired from the walk here.
"I am well, Lady Isabel, though the festivities are taking a toll on my wardrobe and allowance with all these parties being thrown. Some lemon-tea if it's not too much to ask for."

"Oh yes, the parties! Fortunately House Hightower does not need to face the exertion of hosting our own event quite yet," Izzy said. She summoned a servant and called for lemon tea and cakes. "Have you met any nice men yet?"

Jennalynn blushed slightly as Isabel asked her about men. She hadn't talked to that many men and those she had grown up with at court were like brothers to her.
"There have been a few, at least to look at." she said with a small grin. "Haven't talked to anyone beyond common pleasantries. And what about you, Lady Isabel, any new men in your life?"
