Aurane arrived, dressed in slight military fashion, crimson and gold, his hair slicked back. With him were his wife and daughter, Teirney.

"Thank you for the invitation, your Grace," Aurane said with a smile, following the King. "We are all very excited about this dinner. My daughter Nymeria was very upset she could not come," He added with a chuckle.

"I am sorry my wife can not join us, but she has been ill." He replied, "You know Lord Bertram, correct?" He motions toward the Tyrell lord. And then to a darkly beautiful woman sitting in the parlor also, "And that is Velinda Delinal. A representative of Braavos. I hope you do not mind."

Aurane's eyes lit up when he saw Velinda. "I do not mind at all, your Grace. This is my beautiful wife Doreah, and my lovely daughter Teirney," He said in an introductory manner.

Doreah was dressed in a cream and gold that contrasted beautifully against her sooty skin, her hair in long loose waves about her shoulders. Teirney was a peculiar sight behind her mother and father. She resembled neither in coloring, but seemed a perfect blend of Aurane and Doreah’s attributes. Her eyes were the bright green of the Lannisters, but her hair and skin had taken on a tint of dark gold. Though she was merely pretty now, it was already evident she would be a great beauty once grown.
Doreah held her daughter’s hand close in a way that conveyed both pride and guardianship, and smiled for the King and her husband. "Your Grace, I am honored.”
Teirney looked at her King with large, awed eyes, fascinated. Could she really be going to live with this man and his family? It seemed too much like a dream to be real.

The King kissed the hand of Doreah, and then knelt slowly before the little girl. "Hello Teirney, I am the King. I am pelased to have met you."
Bertram smiled at the Lannister as he moved over, "It will be good for my Little Rose to have a girl her age to play with. Damon is a handful."

"The opposite of my Damon, who is a... well, he does as he is told," Aurane said, not wanting to sound like an awful parent. "He is only seven though, plenty of time for him to start rebelling," He laughed.

Bertram nodded, "Does he enjoy his lessons?"

"He has taken to being a future knight," Aurane said, nodding. "He does his duty."

"I think we have enough rebellion in the family with Nymeria alone, dear. Teirney is a much softer kind--she and Rose will get along marvelously, your Grace." Nobody could look into Teirney's sweet face and no see innocence there, and Doreah had dressed her to heighten the effect.
The girl seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the attention afforded to her by the King, and she seemed to beam and grow bigger, with some incipient seeds of that Lannister pride lighting up in her eyes. "Your Grace," she responded as demurely as possible, lowering her head.

"That is ummm... excellent. You should be quite proud. How is his sword hand?" Bertram asked.

"Strong already, your Grace," Aurane commented. "He will be a powerful warrior one day; one of the greats, no doubt." He set down an expensive bottle of wine he had brought. "A gift, your Grace; A Dornish vintage from the year 487. Only six remain, including this one."

The King stood after a few words with Tierney and said, "Thank you. Quite a gift." He waved and a steward took the bottle from Aurane.
Bertram bowed his head to Aurane.
