Lady Eleanor arrived at the manse. As soon as she was in, she screamed. "Baratheons! Get over here, all of you." Her voice screeched across the building.

Oswyn entered the room, his eyebrow raised in an inquisitive nature.
"Yes grandmother?" he asked.

"Oswyn, Oswyn!" She smiled. "Great news, the Hightowers proposed to marry one of theirs to Little Quenton... What do you think?"

"Please, Grandmother, I am hardly little."
Quenton comes walking into the room sheepishly, dressed in a sharp doublet, black with golden criss-cross patterning.
"I cannot recall meeting any Hightower women that have taken my fancy of late. To whom am I to be wed?" he asked, wincing in expectation.

"And that's the best part for you, my dear..." She smiled. "You get to choose. We've got Perriane, Gwayne's first sister, and Rohanne the other one. Both with the red mane of the Hightowers, though Perriane is a bit chubby, I believe." She blinked at him.

"My, my, you have been busy grandmother," Quenton says distractedly.
"Sisters to Lord Hightower, reasonable prospects, and no doubt a solid dowry. Thank you."
He begins pacing the room, apparently deep in thought.
He pauses for a moment. "If I have a choice between the two sisters, do you think Lord Hightower would mind if I meet them both before making a decision?" His mouth curled up at the corners wickedly.

"They're but childs at the moment, Quent..." Lady Eleanor shooked her head. "But as soon as they hit womanhood, I'll make those arrangements." She blinked one eye at him. "But look at the bright side... When you're old they'll still be ripe for harvest."

Oswyn patted his younger brother on the back, a wide grin on his face.
"Congratulations!" he exclaimed. "I believe a drink is in order."

Quenton grinned at his grandmother's comment. He laid a friendly hand on her lower back.
"Thank you grandmother, you've guaranteed me a bright and youthful future."
Turning to Oswyn, he replied "As good an excuse as any!"
