I am still figuring out the rules for character creation, but I figured I would place a stop holder here so people can just post their basic ideas here.
Some basic guidelines, and these are all subject to change.
We are having first seconds and thirds. Your first must be the family you are joining. All of you characters must be in some way be loyal to your house. There can be no conflicted loyalty. Nor Lords or Heirs from other houses. If one of your characters is from another house they must now be loyal to your current house. If you want to play a Stark living in Dorne with the Martells that is fine, but then he has to be hated and an outcast from his original house. He has no where else to go.
Do not worry about skills, but just post your character and give a brief write up of them.

Post by Prince Evan Martell on Sept 2, 2013 21:56:23 GMT -5
First:
Character Name: Prince Evan Martell
Character Age: 38 (age at time of first event 18, second event: 28)
Character Nationality: Dorne
Character Byname: The Silent Politician
Character Skills:
Expert: Diplomacy
Noteworthy: Persuasion Swordmanship
Apprentice: Observation Knowledge
Novice: Leadership Athletics
Beginner: Riding Small Blades
Character Personal History: Evan was the third born child following his sister, Carmesi. From a young age, he showed an interest in the history of his people and Westeros. From the time he learned to read, Evan always had face deep into a book or pouring over maps either inside the library or outside in the warmth of the sun. As he grew older, his love changed to the art of politics. To his mother’s surprise, you could never find Evan far from him when she held court. His eyes watching, listening to his mother’s voice and her decisions. The tactfulness of her rule over the Dornish people.
Evan loved his family, but held no thought of having his own. At the constant urging of his father to find a bride, Evan did not pay much heed. Eventually, he reluctantly took a wife from House Dalt, a lesser Dornish house. His wife gave him only child, a daughter, Adrien. Unfortunately his wife died in childbirth. Throughout his brief marriage, everyone knew his books and maps were his actual wife, and the quest of political advancement for his family was his most devoted mistress. He deemed fatherhood as another deterrent to his true mission. In his true fashion as a politician, he pledged his grandson, Marcellus as a ward of Kings Landing without a second thought to steel the undying loyalty of Dorne to the Targaryens.
As a young man, Evan believed that as he followed his aspirations of being a politician, it did not mean he should not know how to wield a blade. At times he may need more than his wits to defend himself, if the time ever arose. On top of strengthening his mind with knowledge, he also studied the long blade, which became his trusted companion on journeys from his home.
Character Physical Description: Tall and muscular, Evan was always considered a very attractive Dornish man, even in his youth. His eyes, deep and dark, set against his tanned Dornish skin. In his youth his hair was long tresses of wavy black hair, but as he aged he tended to like it cut shorter. It was specked with a few strands of silver here and there. He believed it made him look more distinguished.
Character Reputation: A quiet man. He would smile here and there when it suited him and chose to speak when he deemed it necessary, but when he did make his opinion known it was not forgotten, earning him the name of the Silent Politician.
Second: WIP
Name: Orlyn Sand

FIRST
Name: Lord Bayard Royce, called Bayard the Blind. Age: 45 at game's start. (25 and 35 at the prequel events) Region: The Vale.
Reputation up to Event 1, the Wedding: The realm would likely know Bayard from two events.
The first is the tragedy that befell him and his house as a child. Bayard was only five years old, on a morning ride with his Lord father and a few retainers when they were brutally attacked. Lord Emmen was killed in the fight that followed. Bayard was terribly maimed -- one of the assassins slashed him across the face with his sword, blinding him. The boy only survived because the wound was grave enough that he was assumed dead. The attackers wore the garb of clansmen, but were suspiciously well armed and trained, and many speculated that it was a deliberate assassination.
A regent was appointed for the young boy. But while the man ruled fairly at first, his position made him power hungry. Soon rumors began to circulate that tragic Bayard, now fourteen years of age, would abdicate his lordship in favor of a monastic lifestyle. Apparently Bayard heard the rumors, and disagreed with them; he quietly raised his own supporters, who arrested the regent by force. The regent was thrown out of the Moon Door, and Bayard has ruled in his own name ever since.
Bayard is a noted patron of the arts, and it is said that the poets, singers, sculptors, and chefs in his court are unparalleled anywhere else in the Seven Kingdoms. And a few, if they were paying attention, might notice that for a sightless man, Lord Royce seems to have eyes everywhere...
Appearance: Lord Bayard Royce is a tall, striking man. He does not have the muscled arms of a warrior, but has kept himself fit. Minus his scar, Bayard has classically handsome, noble features, with a patrician’s nose and dark hair graying at the temples. But of course the first thing that anyone notices is the brutal slash that runs horizontally across his face. His eyes are a terrible ruin surrounded by heavy scarring.
Lord Royce’s clothes are not flashy, but always of the very highest quality. He carries an intricately engraved bronze cane, but rather than leaning on it, he holds it before him, occasionally tapping the ground below.

Post by Teirney Lannister on Sept 3, 2013 4:04:52 GMT -5
Teirney Lannister
Age: 18
Appearance: Teirney is a beautiful young girl whose features combine the respective strengths of the Dornish and Lannisters. Her and her sisters are crowned with hair that gleams the darkest burnished gold, and skin that carries a natural flush barely kissed by the sun. She still retains the green Lannister eyes, however, and, altogether, merely seems a more exotic version of the standard model.
Background: Teirney lost her mother her mother at only age thirteen. She had always been her mother’s prized pet and treated accordingly with mindless indulgences; and she is still predisposed to this materialistic narcissism to this day. However, she was also a willful girl with wild tendencies that took her mother’s deft hand to tailor to the niceties of the social sphere. As a result, she is a highly charismatic individual who not only requires but is particularly trained in getting her way.
Her mother’s sudden death, however, has placed Teirney in a caretaker role over her numerous siblings, who were largely ignored by their hedonistic father and turned to her as a source of solace and guidance. In tending to her younger brother, Damon, she fielded the practice yard by his side in hopes of bolstering his chronically deflated self-confidence and, in the process, developed into a noteworthy swordswoman herself. She is also one of the only people who can manage some influence over and restrain her sister, Nymeria.
Teirney’s bond with her Lannister family is impenetrable, and she will defend them fiercely against all and any aggressors without hesitation. She is expertly manipulative and, true to her Lannister name, nurtures lofty ambitions that have yet to become apparent to anyone.
Additional Information: Tierney's mother, Doreah Martell, was sister to Princess Carmesi Martell and daughter to Prince Harzod and Princess Fyona Martell. As such, Tierney, is close to her Martell aunts and uncles, as well as cousins.

My First
1) Character Name: Lord Aurane Lannister
2) Character Age: 31
3) Character Nationality: The West
4) Character Byname: None
5) Character Skills:
Expert: Battle Command Noteworthy: Intrigue Noteworthy: Swordsmanship Apprentice: Charm Apprentice: Stewardship Novice: Riding Novice: Drinking Beginner: Dancing Beginner: Confectionery
6) Character Personal History: Aurane is the eldest child of Gerion Lannister, the sometimes violent lord of the Rock. While he perhaps earned the most love from his parents for being their first child, he also received a rigorous and harsh training in all that his father believed a lord should be. At an early age Aurane had books about warfare, economy, maintenance of land and history thrown at him, which he only read with reserved eagerness. He was sent to the yard to practice his swordsmanship as soon as his father deemed him old enough and when chance presented himself he would be taught the ways of command in mock battles.
Aurane's relationship with his parents was never a loving one, though he became somewhat close to his siblings, once they came along. And yet while they no doubt tried to be closer, the air of superiority Aurane felt he needed to keep around him at all times, being the heir, did nothing to help kinship grow. When his father died, Aurane did not weep.
Aurane was married at a young age to a Dornish beauty and while at first there may have been love between the two, Aurane quickly became disillusioned. He openly cavorted with other women and when the maester told him that, after the particularly hard seventh birth, his wife would need a miracle to survive, Aurane simply said nothing. Thus, she died.
Since then the Lord of Casterly Rock's harem of women has grown and while he might be viewed as an eccentric living in decadence he still possesses all the rulership skills he was taught. That, and a family.
Aurane has fought on various occasions in the Stepstones, one from 690 to 693 and then again from 696 to 698.
7) Character Physical Description: Aurane is a handsome, almost beautiful man, with blonde hair and green eyes. He has a slim figure, a straight back and a practiced walk that shows all the elegance and majesty of a lion.
8) Character Reputation: A man with many reputations, both good and bad.
My Second
1) Character Name: Ser Damon Lannister
2) Character Age: 17
3) Character Nationality: The West
4) Character Byname: None
5) Character Skills:
Noteworthy: Swordsmanship Noteworthy: Lance Apprentice: Riding Apprentice: Archery Novice: Athletics Novice: Healing Beginner: Singing Beginner: Animal Handling
6) Character Personal History: Damon, the first son and second child of Lord Aurane, had his entire life planned for him. The first son needed to be a knight, and a good one, so as soon as he was able the boy was put into the yard, to train with the sword. He learned to ride, swim, climb and run for miles and was taught all the courtesies a knight should know. At eight he was fostered at Crakehall and at twelve he squired to Ser Paxter Crakehall, a famous knight of the West.
Finally knighted at sixteen, Damon returned to his home only to find himself somewhat a stranger. He had been gone for eight years and since then much had changed. He has since begun to readjust, though due to his tough upbringing the poor young man has never been able to develop much of a personality. He is closest with his sister Teirney, who spent much of her time with him the yard when he was younger.
7) Character Physical Description: Damon is broad of shoulder, tall and built like a warrior. He resembles his mother more than his father, with dark brown hair, nigh black eyes and a dark complexion. Thus, he stands out from his other siblings.
8) Character Reputation: Known as an able young knight who is mostly quiet and keeps to himself.
My Third
1) Character Name: Nymeria Lannister
2) Character Age: 15
3) Character Nationality: The West
4) Character Byname: None
5) Character Skills:
Apprentice: Charm Apprentice: Deception Novice: Persuasion Novice: Short Blades Beginner: Valyrian Beginner: Cosmetics
6) Character Personal History: Nymeria was born the third child to Aurane Lannister, which meant that she developed a hugely flawed personality. While her sister was never doted on that much, Aurane spoiled his cute little cub. Nymeria had everything she could ever want and when she called for something it was swiftly brought to her. As a child she had countless servants at her beck and call and plenty of lower noble girls to play with.
Though she was spoiled she still enjoyed the lessons she would receive, knowing that as a Lannister she would have to be far more intelligent and learned than anyone else. In regards to her siblings, Nymeria never really got on with any of them, though she bares some respect for her older sister. She would tease Damon and the other boys, but dotes on Sansa, though likely only to be in control of her.
As Nymeria grew she flowered into a beautiful young woman who would capture many an eye - would her father allow any men to get close to her, that is.
7) Character Physical Description: Nymeria has the golden hair of the Lannisters and the bronzed skin of the Martells. She is beautiful and exotic looking, with pouty lips and blue eyes that are off-set by her skin. Nymeria is fairly short and has a slim and shapely physique.
8) Character Reputation: Only really known around the Rock, Nymeria is renowned for being in love with herself.

Post by Princess Carmesí Martell on Sept 3, 2013 12:05:58 GMT -5
1) Character Name: Princess Carmesí Martell
2) Character Age: 41
3) Character Nationality: Dorne
4) Character Byname: The Crimson Widow
5) Character Skills:
6) Character Personal History: Born second following her brother Zarif, Carmesí was matched by her grandfather to an aging (but incredibly wealthy) Lord of Starfall—at the time of her marriage she was no more than a bargaining chip in the machinations of her elderly grandfather, a power-hungry man, who sought to reinforce his hold on the nobility by way of marriage and the constant pursuit of greater wealth. When Zarif was killed at the age of 19, Carmesí succeeded to the Sunthrone, pregnant with her first child, Salomae. There would be no further children in a loveless marriage fraught with constant conflict. The quality of her marriage was widely discussed following the death under suspicious circumstances of her husband, not long after her ascension. Although rumors abounded, none were seriously considered as the Lady Paramount’s temperament had never been noted as vicious or retaliatory.
7) Character Physical Description: Tall and stately, Carmesí’s once onyx hair has gone silver with age, a shining, golden silver, though, to rival the mane of any Targaryen. Her eyes are silver-green, and sharp, her skin paled with age, but still soft and unmarked by the powerful Dornish sun.
8) Character Reputation: Some claim she killed her husband, and have marked her with the moniker “the crimson widow,” a rumor which she has left unchallenged, a quiet, and thoughtful woman. Her family knows her as reasonable, and understanding, but shrewd at times.
Second:
1) Character Name: Salomae Martell
2) Character Age: 23
3) Character Nationality: Dorne
4) Character Byname: None
5) Character Skills:
6) Character Personal History: Borne shortly after her mother’s ascension to the sunthrone, Salomae was raised in the presence of many luxuries, and though her father died young she grew up close to her uncles who all lived at court, and who taught her much of the ways of politics, strategy and intrigue. At twenty she set off for King’s Landing to represent Dorne in the capital.
7) Character Physical Description: With the same stately air as her mother, Salomae is dark and long of hair, with olive skin, and grey-green eyes.
8) Character Reputation: She is known as a shrewd politician and a charming party guest.

7) Character Personal History: Born the second son of Lord Eustace Baratheon, Yohn had, since his youngest years, one of the proudest and egocentric stag in all Storm's End 's herd. He also never had a good relation with his father, who had always turned his attention to the the perfect and promising heir, Sammael, for whom he also gave no love, yet no hate either.
At 10 he started squiring for one of his father's vassals, for seven years he lived away from home and his family. When Yohn came back, knighted and fully trained, something inside him told him he would be Lord Eustace's choice for Commander of the Baratheon's army. But no... Sammael, would get that, and he would have to quench his thirst for power with the cargo of Lord Admiral. Gods, he'd always hated ships... But he did as he was commanded, for that was his duty.
When his father died, at least one sign of gratitude was given him by his brother, the place as Justiciar of the Sotrmlands. His iron fist dealing with peasants and nobles alike proved him to be the perfect choice. Twenty years ago, when ocurred the great marriage of the Targaryens, the whole family went to King's Landing, leaving Yohn as steward... Some minor Lord took offense when Yohn commanded him to disband his troops in a feud with other minor Lord... He didn't seem to have listened... And when the family came back, his whole family hung at the gates and no one heard again of House Pitt. That day he gained a nickname among the smallfolk, Lord Gallows.
That same year he found true love. He married Lady Catherine Grandison, and for six months they lived in pure harmony, some even said the iron heart of the Black Stag had melted. But that was before the fever came... It was quick, she only lasted a fortnight. Consumed by sorrow, Yohn found comfort on the raping of one of his servants. And that was it, the steaming molten iron solidified back, even harder than before.
And nine months later, the twins came... And in them Yohn saw a great opportunity. As they grew, he molded them under their personalities and his need. Dagon would make a great killer, he just needed to stay quieter, but there's nothing one good beating would not fix. And Harlan would make the perfect envoy, with his soft conquering voice.
Time passed, and Yohn got used with the idea of Admiral. Not that he liked it, but as he won in the battlefield he started know that was the place he was meant to be... He even ordered built a ship of his own, the strongest galley on the Stormfleet, "The Black Fawn", he called it... But some bold folk say it was named during one of his soft moments, and it's actually name is "The Fawn of Grandeview", but of course the don't do it on his face.
8) Character Physical Description: Yohn is a large man - tall, broad shouldered and sinewy, reaching almost 6’6’’. While he is not described as being particularly unattractive, he is also not considered as handsome. The long curly locks that fall over his shoulders are dark as a night without a moon, even with the weight of 53 years upon his shoulders. Although he’s got hard wrinkles across his forehead, due to his almost constant frowning, the rest of his face is soft, well treated and covered by a close cropped dark beard. He has deep dark blue eyes and thin, pale lips.
9) Character Reputation: He is well known among the other nobles as cold, ruthless and sometimes immoral, yet calm and controlled, man, who is willing to do anything for the best of the family. Among the peasants, he is feared for he makes sure that everyone sees what happens with those who go against him. Thus gaining the byname, The Black Stag.
Second:
1)Character Name: Dagon Storm
2)Age: 23
4)Byname: The Justiciar’s Shadow
Noteworthy – Short Blades Noteworthy - Espionage Apprentice – Poison Apprentice – Rapier Novice - Hand to Hand Novice- Deception Beginner - Animal Handling Beginner - Drinking
7) Character Personal History: Fierce and loud, Dagon has been since he came to this world. Differently from his non-identical twin brother, he seemed to claw his way out of his mother’s thighs, he fought so hard some say he was the cause of his mother’s death that day.
Dagon grew under the tutoring of his father, being envisioned to become a killing machine, and his personality was most fitting for that job. At 9 he killed his first man, one of his father’s servants, with a knife stuck in his throat.
Being good at killing was well seen in his father’s eyes, but the way he did it was not. After some few hard beatings from Yohn, soon Dagon learned to act more silently and with different methods other than bloody murder. But even then you could see, he was just like his father, bloody and violent, yet he lacked the Black Stag’s main attractions: calmness, coldness and patience.
8) Character Physical Description:
9) Character Reputation: He's seen as a boisterious drunkard, yet menacing and scary guy. As his brother he stands most of the time beside his father.
Third:
1) Character Name: Harlan Storm
2) Character Age: 23
3) Character Nationality: Stormlander
4) Character Byname: The Justiciar’s Tongue
5) Character Skills:
Apprentice – Persuasion Apprentice – Political Intrigue Novice – Forgery Novice- Higher Mysteries Beginner - Rapier Beginner - Deception
7) Character Personal History: The exact opposite of his brother, Harlan in his birth bed took a much longer time to come out than his brother, so long the Maester even thought of leaving the boy to die inside his dying mother. But all in a sudden, the young lad slipped out as gentle and calm as wind over the meadow, he made no sound but for a really low whining.
Harlan grew to be, at least seem to, a much gentler creature than Dagon. He spent his free hours reading and wondering about the mysterious forces that roam our world. As he grew his voice became softer and sweeter, allowing him to have any girl he wanted at his feet, with nothing else but a whisper on her ear.
Not being loud about his killing doesn’t mean he does not enjoy it. Differently from his brother, Harlan has a fascination for pain and the ways it can afflict one’s body. Looking deeply into his eyes you can see Yohn, the same calmness and ruthlessness, although hidden under velvet skin and lacking the fierceness of his father.
8) Character Physical Description:
9) Character Reputation: He's known as the weird looking guy that stands beside his father almost all the time. Yet he's well seen among the other lords as a polite and gentle envoy.

3) Character Nationality: The Far Reach (Andal)
7) Character Personal History:
Leyton is the firstborn son of Ser Lorren Hightower and his wife Mordane Ashford. He was sent to squire for Ser Arron Florent at the age of thirteen. 9) Character Reputation: Known for his devotion to the Seven.
