[The Stranger]

Finn sighed, and nodded glumly. "Should we... focus on business?" He asked.

[Edric Stark]

"Why, was there something else?" Dany asked curiously.

[The Stranger]

Finn shrugged, "Not really. I appear to have made an enemy in Ser Hugh Morrigen of the Kingsguard. And I've gotten closer to Joss, but he keeps most of his cards well against his chest, so I don't know as much as I'd like yet."

[Edric Stark]

"Why, what happened? I've had some encounters with the Kingsguard myself. They seem.. an odd bunch," Dany said, barely suppressing a shiver. "I don't know much about Joss either. Tyana likes him, sort of, but I think he's after only one thing."

[The Stranger]

"What do you think he's after?" Finn asked, "And I irritated Hugh by mentioning the hunt I was supposed to conduct in the king's hearing. Now his grace insists we do it. Garnet and Hugh were less than pleased."

He frowned seeing the shiver, "Wait... what did they do to you?" he asked, concerned.

[Edric Stark]

"What, nothing," Dany said quickly, smiling to dismiss the idea. "They're just scary, is all. And he's probably after what ever boy your age is after." She paused to think about that. "What is the king like, then? No one will tell me."

[The Stranger]

Finn raised his eyebrow, suspicious of her easy smile following so soon after her shiver of fear or disgust. "What is every boy my age after?" He asked frowning.

[Edric Stark]

"Well.. chasing girls. And, you know.." she began, and frowned. "Tell me about the king!"

[The Stranger]

"Joss is not every boy. He's extremely dangerous," Finn replied, "The king is a weakling, and a sap. Sapphire will rule through him in a matter of months, if not days."

[Edric Stark]

"He is? Why?" she asked with a frown. If he was indeed dangerous, she was going to have to warn Tyana about it. "Ugh. So there will be no change, essentially."

[The Stranger]

"Because he is more than he appears. The foolish playful drunk is mostly an act," as if reading her mind, "but you keep that to yourself please."

[Edric Stark]

"Well, I doubt he is always off drinking anyway. He must be doing something.. else," she said thoughtfully. "Surely I should tell Tyana, or?"

[The Stranger]

Finn scowled without meaning too, "I'm sharing my secrets with you, Dany, not with you and Tyana. Tyana tells Tybalt, and than it gets back to Joss, who not appreciating being spied on, has your charmingly little weasel left dead in the gutter."

[Edric Stark]

"She wouldn't tell anyone," Dany said with a roll of her eyes, like it was obvious. "Not even Tybalt. But seeing as you didn't tell me anything about Joss anyway, I think you're safe."

[The Stranger]

"Don't roll your eyes at me," he said with a huff, "And she would so." He smiled in spite of himself. "I told you the important part, and anyway you didn't ask why he was dangerous, so if you want to know more ask."
