He lands and does not see anything, but an empty street. Then he feels a hard slash across his back and he flopped forward. The man licked his bloody dagger clean, and moved in for the kill.
Keath's back was on fire, and he could feel the blood pouring out of his body.

Dunnock shouts out in pain and spins around, swinging his weapon blindly, using it more like a quarterstaff than a spear.

The man with the silver blade blocks the attack with his blade, and hooks the spear with his arm. He slashes at Dunnock, inching closer with out letting up his hold on the spear.

Dunnock jerks back on the end of the spear the man holds, then lashes forward with the butt of the spear, a blow aimed at his assailant's knee.

The punch lands, but with little force. It does cause the knifeman to move past Dunnock so for a fleeting second they are back to back. They spin and face one another, and the knife man throws the spear away behind him.
Then there is a loud crunch from behind Dunnock. Back from where he had originally come.

Dunnock could not turn without being stabbed in the back, and could only hope it was reinforcements for him rather than his enemy. Hoping the knifeman would be distracted by whatever was behind Dunnock, he lunges forward and tries to slam the man into a wall.

Dunnocks hand just wraps around the mans ankle. The man's arm and other foot try to pull free, but Keath is just strong enough to stop the man's flight.

The man's eyes flash at Dunnock and lets go using Keath's on pull to lunge down and stab him.
Or that was his intent. A large arm reaches out and grabs the man's throat. Another bats away the dagger. Brice Hightower smahes the man against the wall, until he stops moving.
