Lymon said, "Yet you hesitate?"

"It is not an easy thing, putting your fate in the hands of another, but I am certain." He tried to appear confident.

Lymon said, "I am honored you have put your trust in me."

"It is I that am honored. You have been more than a mentor to me over the years.' Gregor rubbed his hands together as he spoke. "The fact that you have even spoken my name to Lord Hightower is a gift so great that I cannot ever repay it."

"A wine from the year of the King's Birth. There are suppose to be eight crates put aside, and Garnet thinks it is time to decant it." Lymon replied.

Lymon was reading a book, that he hid quickly when Gregor entered his office, "yes?"

It appeared to Gregor that Maester Lymon was putting something away when he entered. What was it he thought to himself? Was he hiding something from him or was it just pure coincidence. Gregor didn't put much faith in the latter. It seemed everyone had their secrets. He suddenly felt like a pawn more than a student. A slight from formed on his face at the thought. Nobody was who they seemed to be, everyone had layers on top of layers.
Gregor forced a small smile. "I just returned from speaking with Lord Redwyne. He indicated that the wine would arrive in time for the festival."

Lymon frowned, "He has been telling me that for months, but the wine is not here."
