The room allocated to Gregor Corbray and Aaryn Sunglass.
Aaryn's side of the room is sparsely furnished. Seven small wooden figures carved in the likeness of one of the Seven sit adjacent to his bed. Apart from that, the remainder of his few belonging sit at the foot of his bed locked in a chest.

Gregor's side of the room is an absolute mess. A small desk in the corner of the room is cluttered with manuscripts, scrolls, and diagrams. Bits of armor, miniature siege weapons, and the like are scattered about. Clothes are partially spilling out of the chest at the foot of his bed.

Aaryn gingerly entered the room he shared with Gregor. Sore from training with both Zach and Rodrik he moved over to his bed, where he lay down.

Gregor was shuffling through some papers on his cluttered desk. He did not look up, assuming it was Aaryn. Gregor did not receive many visitors, he was certainly not popular like Sapphire. Nobody was vying for his attention.
Gregor kept shuffling through papers as he spoke. "How was training?" He paused though too brief for Aaryn to respond. "Let me guess...Ser Derek or Michael pummeled you as if you stole their most prized possession. Or was it the Warrior himself in mortal flesh come to beat you back to Dorne?"

"It was Rodrik and Zach." Aaryn replied. "But I beat them both. Not at the same time. I did not see you there. Did you go?"

Gregor did not look at Aaryn. He was scribbling on a piece of parchment when he replied. "You know that I only go to the training yard when I am ordered to do so." He paused his writing for a moment, then started scribbling furiously. "I have more important matters to tend to. Besides I am no more use than a tree stump..."
Gregor put the quill down then began shuffling through more papers. "Anyway better the stump get beaten than me. As far as I can tell, tree stumps don't feel any pain. I on the other hand feel pain, and I am not fond of it."

"There is no victory without pain." Aaryn replied, still lying on his bed. He said nothing more, voicing his disagreement with Corbray's lack of attendance through his silence.

"That is just a silly saying Aaryn to fool...to fool people who are uneducated enough to believe it." Gregor exclaimed as he pulled one page out of the pile. "There is plenty of evidence of victory without pain. Believe what you wish I don't have the time nor do I care to prove it to you." He took two small objects and placed them on a small scale.

Aaryn frowned at the implications of Corbray's comment. "Well, I guess I'll leave you to your 'important matters' and go converse with the other uneducated children."
He rose and walked out of the room, favouring one leg.

Gregor continued about his work. He was disappointed with Aaryn. All this talk of no victory without pain yet he walked away from a discussion instead of putting the effort in to prove his point. There was plenty of merit to the saying, he was just playing devil's advocate. It was hard to find a worthy opponent when it came to arguments and discussions.
