Rodrik's side of the room was cluttered with random oddities that had caught the boy's eye in his excursions into Oldtown. One of the walls is adorned with a small tapestry depicting the sigil of House Selmy.

Rodrik enters the room after leaving the ball and unfastens the wooden toggles on his doublet. Throwing the clothing on his bed, he moves towards the window and looks out over the city. Rodrik was always amazed by the view from the Hightower, and how impressive the city of Oldtown was. From his memories of Harvest Hall, it had nothing on the city, simply put.

Rycherd arrived back from the feast in a somewhat ill-tempered mood. He barged into the room wont and saw Rodrik by the window.
"Back already Selmy? You no doubt found the ball as uninspiring as I did?"

Turning around to see Rychard, he replied, "Oh, I did not hear the door open. Yes, the night did seem rather dull. Well, until pastries started to fly, that is. I imagine the new Lady Hightower is wondering what she has gotten herself into..."

Rycherd grunted something inaudible. He threw himself onto his bed and studied the young Stormlander for a minute.
"How long have you been here with the Hightowers?"
