"You better hold it, or I might have to cut it off," Dany said and gave him a sweet smile that was in contrast with her words. "Ah, I probably couldn't do that. What kind of compensation does one want, exactly?"
She shrugged at the last part and sipped the wine before replying. "I haven't really worked it all out yet... I might need time to get accustomed to the idea."

"If you were Lady Tyrell at Highgarden, with all her...loyal... vassals behind her, then perhaps you could," Finn replied, "But until then," he shrugged.
"Well don't wait too long. I imagine the Lannister girl and others are busy in the same competition. no?"

"She's supposed to marry Baelor," Dany said, looking as if she'd just said something hilarious. "How am I supposed to be Lady Tyrell of Highgarden with my loyal vassals behind me if I'm married to a Hightower? It would rather defeat the purpose, wouldn't it?"

"Well, it might defeat your purpose, but it doesn't defeat Hightower's purpose," he replied. "He'll rule, so make sure you rule him."

"Do you think I could rule anyone into standing up against their family?" she asked, raising an eyebrow and sitting down on her bed again.

"I think you could get most men to do most things with only a minor effort," Finn replied, "And plenty of people are just looking for an excuse to fight their own family. Familiarity breeds contempt, as the saying goes."

Dany bit her lip and eyed him for a while, deep in thought. I might have to fight mine, she thought.
"Are you most men, Finn?" she asked with a smirk and shook her head to show she wasn't entirely serious with the question. "How have you been?"

"I certainly am," he said with a smile, "Although probably a better barterer than most. And I am well. I'm going out with Anthony Hightower and some of his dogs later, we are doing some preparations for a hunt."

Dany returned his smile and sat a bit straighter. "What kind of a hunt?" she mused, then frowned. "Oh, is it for boys only again?"

"No," Finn said with a smile, "it is for the King and Lord Hightower, when they come."

"Ohh. And you're helping prepare for it?" she asked, her eyes widening. "Could you.. you know, make something happen?"

"I could yes," Finn said, "but I do not intend to. I might with a bit of good fortune get one of them, but I would lose the opportunity to get all of them."

"What do you mean?" Dany asked, narrowing her eyes in thought. "How could you ever hope to get all of them at the same time?"

" If we acted now, we might feel some satisfaction, but nothing changes, in the end. I seek to wait until we can put them where we are now."

"Even if we turned old and grey before it happened?" she asked with a hint of a smile. "I think they could benefit from being thrown into a pit of weasels. Not that I have anything against weasels. I think they're cute."
