"He was mauled by a lion. And now his face looks.." Dany trailed off and wrinkled her nose in disgust. She raised a questioning eyebrow. "Oh really? And how, pray tell, do you mean to ensure that? Most here are either Hightowers' lapdogs or too scared of them to speak their mind. I wouldn't know," she finished with a shrug.

Rycherd sighed inwardly.
"You are not interested in helping me Dany? I have no firm plans as yet, but the first step is acquiring allies and confidants, while you work to delay the marriage. You know no-one at all?"

"There are plenty of ways you could help me, if you were so inclined." said Rycherd. "Look for ways to delay your marriage. As the betrothed of Michael Hightower, you will have access to people and places I will not. Keep your eyes and ears open for those that oppose the Hightowers. Keep me informed of matters that concern our House and Highgarden.
He took another sip of wine and pondered for a moment the name that Dany had given him.
"Robb Marbrand. What makes you think he would be our ally?"

Dany fought the urge to roll her eyes as he was talking for fear of spraining her eyes. "Because he is traitorspawn, like us. And he had some similar ideas. Have you wrote to your father lately, Rycherd? Or any of your siblings at that matter?" she asked.

"Traitorspawn does not make him automatically an ally. If he has the same ideas about the Hightowwers then you have obviously spoken to him to know about them." said Rycherd.
